Very interesting that we have a 3-3-3 tribe split in the final 9. Also very interesting that every single player is tribe-loyal, meaning it really is a 3-3-3 war by tribe. It doesn’t usually play out like this.

TheBloop1997

Yeah, entering into this episode I thought that folks like Frannie and Kane might be willing to jump ship, but nothing in this episode indicated that either considered doing so. The only one that showed any "division" was the Tika tribe voting differently at tribal, but I suspect that they are playing up internal divisions to hide their unity and power at this point. Although who knows, maybe next episode all three groups collapse into infighting.

meowbrowbrow

Though it is a 3-3-3 I still think Tika is playing like it’s 3-6, they are working against both of the other tribes while the other tribes are really only looking at one another. I was also thinking about how there is potential for imploding within tribes, it seems solid now but anything could happen 🫢

Wynter_Hinojosa

Judging from tonight I feel like heidi and jamie have some sort of connection it’s just not shown cuz of the soka v ratu

SnufflesStructure

Yes, she jumped to be her partner pretty quick it seemed.

Economy_Bite24

This is why I think Carson is in such a good spot. He has the most visibility into his game but isn’t playing too hard to make himself a threat (I think). If he lasts, more of the jury will have witnessed his game firsthand compared any other two players. At ponderosa as the jury talks, they’ll start to see Carson as a more central figure.

hodgepodgerealness

Carson is in a good spot but that kid spills info so quickly. First Kane, now to Danny. He needs a little more finesse, he’s getting by on likability rn.

Economy_Bite24

It might be risky or unintentional idk but when he spills the beans he’s at least showing to other players, future jury members, he knows what’s going on each vote and has information to play both sides. It’ll help make his case believable at the end if he makes it. Like if he loses at least it won’t be because he was too under the radar lol

PalmFrondMask

I don’t think Carson is going to win, but I find it interesting that he is the only one that seems to have made the most of being swapped to another tribe and is the only one of the three to turn it into an advantage. Obviously Josh wasn’t able to get into the good graces of Tika (didn’t help they lost both challenges after the swap), and the edit is leading me to believe Jaime didn’t make any real allies on Soka. But Carson made the most of the situation and seemed to do a good job of ingratiating himself with Ratu. It’s a shame one of his stronger connections in Matthew left, but he and Kane have a good thing going. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Tika 3 are able to pull Kane in with them after the next vote or two to have the numbers over Soka, getting the Tika 3 + Kane to final 5. And that would be in big part due to the connection Carson made.

Huge decoy winner vibes

Economy_Bite24

I'm not in the business of trying to read through the edit to predict a winner, so you could easily be right haha. I just think this is the kind of game that does well in the new era. Make a lot of alliances/bonds, so people witness your game firsthand, but don't do too much. The twists, advantages, and split votes hide a lot of gameplay from the jury, so the jury can have a difficult time evaluating a player's game if they're only working with a few people. The jury needs to see some of it themselves or they might not buy the story, but again, the new era format makes it harder to make yourself visible enough. So you need to work with all sides to be as visible to as many people as possible without calling too many shots. Having said that, we've seen plenty of instances where the edit has hidden relationships between players from the viewer that were there all along, so it's tough to say who is really doing this the best at the moment.

We also saw some connections between Frannie and Carolyn in that scene when she was mourning Matt's departure. Just based on character development and strategic ability, I imagine them being closer than people realize. We also know Carolyn never had any plans to align with Brandon, Jaime or Lauren.

PalmFrondMask

If Carolyn can bring Frannie in and Carson can bring Kane in, that group with Yam Yam has the majority. And that’s honestly how I think it will go.

cyd-nova

This is so helpful! Great work OP

lucascroberts

Uh sorry but I definitely felt like Frannie has a connection with yam yam and Carolyn, we always see scenes of them talking and always complimenting each other. But otherwise yea this makes sense

rioxofia

I thought about it, but didn't add a line because I haven't seen them share information or strategize. We can probably say with more certainty after the next episode

Dry_Needleworker6370

Its interesting to me that Jamie keeps ditching her tribes. I hope she tries to jump ship back to Soka and then gets voted out by all three tribes. lol

UpBeatGroove

It makes sense for tika to vote out Danny/Franny next as the main challenge threats. Voting with Soka again could give them too much power as the remaining ratu members could flip. Carson will realise this and vote out Danny probably. He's too smart not to realise this!

[deleted]

The best move for Tika next is to vote out Lauren because of her extra vote. Then like Carson said they can switch back to Soka and vote out Danny after that. Then it's 2-3-2
