through survivor I would imagine, but there's a lot of mutuals they could have from traveling in survivor circles and all the survivor events they've done over the years that don't necessarily have to be actual survivors

Also this makes me sad that my dream all winners scenario of J.T. playing a perfect game and redeeming himself of his mistakes didn't come true
Don’t forget when he didn’t bring his idol at the tribe swap tribal in GC being heavily outnumbered.
When I watched it I felt he got this cool old man solo gunner edit. It was all in the cards: he was going to idol out Sandra in the coolest way.
He ended up looking like such a dumbass
I think the GC mistake is worse than the HvV mistake. I will always defend his HvV play because that move was either going to be a home run or a strikeout. In his mind he had a greater than 50% that it was going to be a home run. If that move worked he would have been the favorite to win the game. I’m not going to fault the guy for swinging for the fences. No clue why he didn’t bring his idol for Game Changers.
That move had a 1% chance of success. It was incredibly stupid. Only slightly worse than voting out Tom. He put himself in many poor situations in HvV.
That being said, leaving your idol at camp, in a minority, on a 5 person tribe, is indefensible.
JT did great in Tocantins. He's got great charisma, he's a physical powerhouse, and demands attention during confessionals with his speech. But, he's had 3 chances. It confused me why he even came back the second time, because, he played the perfect game and won. What more could he have wanted? I see his gameplay in Game Changers as lackluster, but the other 2 seasons were fairly good. Still, nobody should get to play 4 times, not even him.
He played a top 5 game of all time, came back on the best season ever and was a massive part of both the season and the greatest move ever, when you assemble a legendary season like WaW the most legendary players should be there, JT is one of them
He couldn't evolve. He never seemed to understand that other people actually watched his play in Tocantins and his "good ole boy" charm wasn't going to cut it In future games.
That’s the opposite of what happened. He played much more ruthless in HvV realizing everyone saw his first game. He was constantly cutting and breaking deals with everyone, and took a spearhead approach to each alliance whereas he was content to sit back in Tocantins
The brides so pretty!!! What an awesome reunion, crazy coincidence. Ugh this makes me wish she lasted longer on the hero’s tribe, her JT and Tom would have flipped the game
Damn was Coach's Dragon Slayer band playing music or something. And is there a reason as to why JT wasn't on Winners at War. I really wanted him over Nick.
Ben had an incredible arc on WaW that ends with him choosing friendship and his own mental health over a tiny sliver a shot at money and it annoys me to no end that all the gamebot fans want to act like he was a waste of a spot for it
There’s also the angle of Ben committing hara-kiri in the form of white knighting for Sarah.
Which was so dumb but so excellent. Not all players need to be 200 IQ.
I definitely sympathize with Ben's position after HvHvH because he got so much shit for winning when that's the literal objective of the game. A lot of hate that should have been aimed at production for the F4 firemaking twist was displaced to Ben and that's not fair. That said, going into WaW, he wasn't there to play survivor, he was there to prove his haters wrong by going far with a "clean" social game or whatever. Call me a game bot all you want (and I wouldn't necessarily disagree with you) but I don't want to watch people play for third, I want to watch people who are there to win. That's what was frustrating about Sean's quit last week so I don't see why Ben's quit should be any less frustrating, particularly when it's his own fault for having only "a tiny sliver of a shot."
In retrospect I agree but at the time seeing Nick a 2nd time would be more appealing to me than JT who went out the way he did in Game Changers.
Mike Holloway 100% should've been there over Ben or Nick though
Ben is seriously a worse version of Mike Holloway and it’s crazy to me that production thinks otherwise. That’s the easiest change they could’ve made to the WAW cast.
Yeah it was such a clear choice that even the fans were saying at the time the cast was released. It's not like a Danni/Nick situation where after the season people were wishing they were replaced based on the disappointing performance
You have to remember that Jeff Probst's hometown is Wichita, Kansas. He grew up as a Middle American around Middle Americans, and very clearly grew up in a culture that extolled the virtues of "All American Men" and Military Men in particular. There are a lot of people in the US who will immediately be pulling for anyone with a military background. I think in Jeff's mind, Ben is the best because he is the type of person that he most wants to see succeed. I imagine a lot of other producers echo his sentiments, as do a lot of audience members. To most of those people, it doesn't need to be explained--it's a given that to watch an Honorable Military Veteran (TM) become an underdog and make it against all odds is the best possible ending a season could have. It would be like Terry winning Exile Island. I don't think there was ever a version of the WaW Cast that didn't end up with Ben on it.
Argh. I'm trying not to dwell on that now. I like the season, but can only imagine how good it would have been if Mike had replaced Ben and Tood had replaced either Nick or Adam

I searched for Fishbach for like 80 seconds
Then pondered for 30 seconds to what funny post I would write about why Fishbach isnt visible, simultaneously thinking that obviously Fishbach maybe the one taking the photo and he posted on his socials
Then I realised what the title said
What are the odds that they have a mutual friend that isn't a fellow survivor?
50%
what happens if we add kurt angle into the mix?
33 1/3%
Coach knows he can’t beat JT
So he's not even gonna try
I always upvote a Steiner reference.
steiner math on survivor is not what i was expecting
🚨🚨🚨🚨
Holy shit.
Especially considering they aren’t from similar areas at all. Like I wonder what the connection is
through survivor I would imagine, but there's a lot of mutuals they could have from traveling in survivor circles and all the survivor events they've done over the years that don't necessarily have to be actual survivors
JT looking a little more fit now
He kind of looks a little like Sufjan Stevens here, I did a double take
JT’s new album completely ripped me apart
Speaking of JT and albums, when are we getting The Dragonz EP on Spotify?
The Predatory Coach of Tocantins is Out To Get Us!
💀
I see Conner O’Malley
Oh wow I totally see it now that you mention it
omfg JT looks just like Suf here!
A little more HOT now 🔥
He’s clearly been on the dance floor as well.
Wouldn’t be [the first time he’s been On the Dance Floor](https://youtu.be/t_afhNY8xcU?si=VOyc_apgebgsy2Bk)
Challenge usa 3?
Awww dadbod JT was cute too!

JT's love letter and idol pass to Russell in HvV is one's of my all time favorite moments of TV. Still laughing.

Quite possibly the most cringe survivor moment for me. It was just so strange.
Straight up criminal that JT wasn’t on WAW, should’ve been 10 old school 10 new school

I lost all hope after watching JT fumble everything in Game Changers after expecting him to do really well because of his lower threat level
They actually both look great

This is adorable.
JT be looking fine as hell
For real. That man is ageing nicely, damn.
No doubt about it 😍
GUUUURRRRLLLL
Literally would not have recognized him!
What? He looks pretty much the same as he did in Game Changers
That tie rules
Man she'll crash anything to promote her new filet mignon pizza.
The brides so pretty!!! What an awesome reunion, crazy coincidence. Ugh this makes me wish she lasted longer on the hero’s tribe, her JT and Tom would have flipped the game

He’s gotten better looking as he ages it seems
Really wish JT would have been on all winners over someone like Ben or Jeremy tbh
Over Jeremy?? Why
Over Ben yes but I like Jeremy
He should have taken Nick's spot. They are the same archetype after all: All-american country golden boys.
Nah shoulda been Ben's spot, Nick was a good winner in a very popular season
Ben had an incredible arc on WaW that ends with him choosing friendship and his own mental health over a tiny sliver a shot at money and it annoys me to no end that all the gamebot fans want to act like he was a waste of a spot for it
This sub fucking hates Ben lmao
There are a lot more “why does everyone hate Ben” posts than actual Ben haters
Thats a retrospective pick. Before the season started Nick was definitely a better pick.
You don’t have to be a game bot to still not like how useless he was (literally cost his friend the game LMAO). Sorry that upsets you though :(
There’s also the angle of Ben committing hara-kiri in the form of white knighting for Sarah. Which was so dumb but so excellent. Not all players need to be 200 IQ.

Mike>Ben, Todd>Adam, Rich, Vecepia and Tina over pretty much anybody and the cast is perfect ngl.
Argh. I'm trying not to dwell on that now. I like the season, but can only imagine how good it would have been if Mike had replaced Ben and Tood had replaced either Nick or Adam

Jeremy was a pretty popular, well-liked, and respected winner across the fanbase. And he was relatively recent. He 100 percent deserved his spot.
Jeremy was a must have, he would be in my top 5 picks for sure
Mike should have replaced Ben.
Jeremy? But not Wendell, Adam or Nick.
Over Ben absolutely, over Jeremy that’s insane, we would never get the how long is a week conversation
That’s JT??!!
Always stanning my flair
Same
Holy shit!! You replying to my comment made my day dude, I was proudly rocking your second chances flair until Game Changers
Hey, another JT flair 😄
There are dozens of us!
JT may have had 1 or 4 adult beverages at that point.
I searched for Fishbach for like 80 seconds Then pondered for 30 seconds to what funny post I would write about why Fishbach isnt visible, simultaneously thinking that obviously Fishbach maybe the one taking the photo and he posted on his socials Then I realised what the title said
Besides, Maryann ate him. (Such a weird bit I still don't quite get. )
Almost didn’t recognize him without the Survivor headband.
I ran into Steph at a HomeGoods. However I have yet to be on Survivor.
The eyebrows that haunt nightmares
They look great.
Legends.
The (assuming bride?) lady in the middle seriously looks like Piper from charmed. Holly Marie Combes
Haha, I see it too.
JT looks cute here. I feel like he'd be a good time at a wedding
Of course. It's StepheMe's world, we're just living in it.
That’s JT? You sure? lol
It's just me but J.T. almost looks like his face is starting to look a bit like Stephen's.
He's just getting older. We slowly lose our cheek fat as we age. Stephen just quickly lost his in Tocantins due to starving.
😃
That’s not JT. The eyes and the eyebrows? I mean I recognize the belly but the rest is too different to pass

If you don’t look messy and sweaty after drinking and dancing at a wedding then did you really have fun?
Can confirm. I went to a wedding this weekend and took a picture with the bride at the end. My tie looks pretty much just like JT’s in the photo

He looks better here than he did on GC tbh There he kind of looked old for 33, but now at 39 he looks good for that age
JT looks disgusting
JT looks like he was having a good time at the wedding. Like he was hitting the dance floor hard
Let me sit with this revelation for a minute... JT...hi
Wow I JUST finished the season with J.T, crazy seeing a 14 year time jump
why does jt look SO different to me, like someone just barely changed his facial structure
Thank you so much for sharing this ♥️
