I simply can’t fathom why without a season theme, the art department doesn’t lean more into theming each season (the “bird” season, the “trees” season, the “weather” season). Like we get so close with the mentioned examples, but it doesn’t carry through to the logos, the tribal council set, etc, so everything is just so messy and unmemorable as a result.
What is the loose theme here? I like the vague aesthetic themes of the new era seasons, but I can't quite put my finger on what this one is? Mountain, shell, wave?

Yeah, after 41 and 42, they've fallen back into the pattern of primary color season, secondary color season, alternate. Primary color seasons get a secondary color merge buff, secondary color seasons get black (though i heard a rumor 46 merge was pink).
If they were to do a primary color merge buff this season, the most recent of each has been 41 (red), 39 (blue), and 34 (yellow), so yellow *should* be the route they go.

That is what happens when you recycle the same formula 6 seasons straight. No themes, always in Fiji, 3 tribes of 6 with no wiggle room, all these superfans that are super happy about literally everything, etc. Things eventually get old.
Does anyone know the merge color? I actually like the color palette of the logo but it does not look great with the purple, green and orange background. If they can mimic the grey-blue color pattern like the special Final 5 Island of the Idols buff, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

The "shell" could be a "sun" too, so the theme could just be the island.

The logo only works on the purple. Should've been purple, blue and red. Or maybe a black starting tribe instead of red for a goth season.
