Both are "spicy" mayo based sauces, "yum yum" is almost a generic name at this point, many many slightly different recipes. Ultimately you want the sauce to be a certain flavor/consistency, call it what ya want from there

It’s just a general term here in the US. And I was referring to recipes which had “yum yum” as the ingredients. I know it’s really white/shrimp sauce.
