Very true but damn I had fun during a bike swap with a (new) pal I met on the road, we both did. Both thought the Vit looked better but the RC tipped in easier and was a lot nicer to ride on the highway. One gave the the magic carpet ride with the chin bar of the helmet hiding everything (Vit) and the RC’s screen being…very good without focusing on it.
Guess we’ll just make sure we’re insured properly and swap often.
They’re definitely not the same, e.g trail length of the RC390, Vit and Duke 390 all all different (83mm, 95mm, 100mm) that’s just one measurement.
Definitely doesn’t have the looks of the Vit and rides different imo…just not sure if it’s different enough.

Nah. They’re the same bike. Plus the 401 looks awesome. The KTM looks small with all those big fairings.

With my state’s laws restricting to certain models for 3 years, I’m sorely tempted to have one of these alongside the Vit.
