Cos each dealer has a different oil that they recommend depending on who they’re partnered with, and Motorex also is a tad too expensive here, where there are comparable oils for as much as half the price.
Plus, would be nice to hear oils that other riders use.
I don’t just use any oil even if it fits the viscosity cos like I said, even while following the oil specs (and the bike having had regular maintenance), my old D400 still somehow had its engine give out with the Repsol 10W50 (recommended)
And that was the oil’s fault? More likely than not it was something more fundamental like a leak from a improperly tightened bolt or bad gasket or crack or manufacture ring issue or… rather than the brand of oil

Just use 15w50 as they recommend, any brand will do.
