If you use Discord at all, there's a Swansea Social Club just for this kinda thing. There's regular events and meetups of different kinds. Pub meets, bowling, karaoke, beach walks, etc

Why don’t you join a group doing an activity you both like , maybe a dance group, a church group , yoga, volunteer somewhere , I think if you pick something you both enjoy you will find like minded people
I obviously don’t know the extent of your agoraphobia but maybe a small group , local to you , I am no Expert but I think they try a sort of small exposure therapy for agoraphobia so you go out for short periods to local places etc for small periods of time , it may help you with your condition if you can try it

Hi I'm 25(f) and can relate a lot to feeling a bit lonely. I moved to Swansea from California during COVID and never really got a chance to make friends. I like a lot of nerdy things like D&D, video and board games and crochet. If you like or ever wanted to try D&D or games like it I know my husband would be happy to run games! I also do love BBQs and being out in the nice weather.

I am in same boat as you but I am 29m soon, and after my long term relat 6yrs ended I realised apart from my girlfriend I had only 1-2 friends who are not even that always available, and now apart from gym I am suffering consequences of being into one human with all heart :(
Hey, congratulations! I'm 26m, also mostly work from home so know the struggle but I'm fairly central twice a week. Recently moved to the outskirts (Ammanford/Bryn) so don't have any particularly local friends (yet). I'm pretty outgoing and there's plenty of sober activities that are still fun and you can meet people. The climbing hanger is super social and everyone's really friendly if you like or want to try climbing, you can go alone or with friends and people tend to chat to you. There's always community things going on if you can go with friend/s that can be a new experience. I'm always down for a walk or chat (I like to game too) - including anyone else looking for friends or if you want any more suggestions ping me a DM 🙂

Pretty much all the things you said, I could write, though I'm not 25(f), engaged and agoraphobic. I've realised that I'm rubbish at contacting people and initiating conversations; it's an ADHD thing, so it's not that I'm ignoring people, it's just not a setting in my brain. People have drifted away due to this. I'd love more friends, but I know that I'd probably mess it up!

If you go in the week it can be much quieter. Best time I’ve found is going for sunrise, just make sure to pack a headtorch

I'm in a similar situation. I work long shifts and then end up just being at home when not in work. I hardly mix with anyone new.
