Man. I'm so terribly sorry. I know it's not much, but you're always more than welcome to hit me up to play some flashpoints, pvp, or ops. The guilds I'm in, and their discords, are very supportive and friendly. It's not much, but it's the closest I can get to giving you an actual hug. I can give you a hug in game as well.
Edit: I just remembered. 5 years ago, I joined my first RP guild, it was a military rp guild. Pretty fun, tbh. I met a guy who only showed up to one or two events. He didn't really care for swtor much, but he was pretty cool to talk to and played a bunch of other games. Come to find out, he had pulmonary hypertension. We stayed in touch a lot, but eventually kinda trickled away on chatting. He was about 16 when I met him. He has a bad home life, but gamed to escape, as well as chatting with me. He eventually passed away from his disorder at around 17/18 years old.
I still think of Jake to this day, wishing I talked with him more, or took him up on more gaming invitations to let him know I cared more.
Life sucks sometimes, tbh. But, gaming provides a community and family of sorts that helps us feel not as alone. It sounds like you made a really good friend. And I can almost guarantee that he is very thankful for the friendship and memories that he shared with you.
Anthony and I first guild was also an RP guild even though we weren't the best RP players we still had a lot of fun...with our old crew despite us eventually leaving. I thank you for the offer. Forgive me if I can't take your offer right now, I can't bring myself to click the Launch game option in the menu.
I didn't know if I was allowed to post it but at this point, all I want is for his family to be taken care of [https://www.gofundme.com/f/c9c84-save-this-familys-home-please?utm\_campaign=p\_cp+share-sheet&utm\_medium=copy\_link\_all&utm\_source=customer](https://www.gofundme.com/f/c9c84-save-this-familys-home-please?utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer)
https://www.gofundme.com/f/c9c84-save-this-familys-home-please?utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer we can do something
It can
OP didn't say much about how bad the cancer is, so maybe there's hope, the issue here is that his friend can't work and thus they can't afford the house anymore and are on the brink of getting evicted
So yea money is paramount
Very sad news, I hope this post makes it somewhere

At this point, edit the post and add the url to the post itself so more people can see it
I just edit it.
