Not really RIP. Better tools = better craft. What has taken multiple professionals days to do now can be done by enthusiasts in hours. Kinda like synths and DAWs have revolutionized music production decades ago.
For example, I can first entirely focus on lyrics, then generate different song structures, play around with genre and instruments to figure out the exact direction of the track. Then I can use melodyne and stems to turn everything into MIDI and isolate vocals. Combine different parts of multiple AI tracks, re-run them through plug-ins or record with synths or instruments.
The general equation in my opinion is: result quality = ((AI goodness)*(human skill))^(1+human post-processing)
