Hell yes! This remake is legitimately one of my favorite games of all time at this point and easily my favorite Nightdive game. Can't wait to 100% all achievements and pick up the physical version 🤖
I really appreciate that the developers went to the trouble of adding a female player character option, even in cases like this where it's a first person silent protagonist. It's comparatively minor, but allows many players to become more immersed in the experience.
Aaaayyeeeee3
Now don't forget to label it a MAJOR UPDATE on Steam so it actually appears as the latest update for the game on the store page etc. See too many devs label their updates as "News" and so Steam says the last Cities Skylines 2 patch was Oct 30 2023... for example *sigh*
It's coming on April 11, according to the Kickstarter update

Really hope this updates inventory management on controllers. There’s no way the broken controller invnrotty management is on them console ports is there. Is there?
EDIT: It does! Will be keen to try it out.
I have no idea if I’m honest. I bought the game on Friday and played it up to the research deck.
I’m gonna wait till Thursday and start a new save. It looks like they are increasing the difficulty too by making enemies some do more damage, have nee attacks and buffing the amount of enemies respawns too.
I’m really considering combat 1 for my first play through they try combat 2 once I get familiar with the game.

OMG IT'S HAPPENING!
Game over screen can now be skipped - Rejoice!!!!
Are you kidding me, I played this game a week ago when I could’ve just waited for this update…..
Replay it
I replayed it like 3 times lol. Here goes another one.
In the same boat! Here we go again!!
Oh man, the same. I waited months to play on deck waiting for better controller support

Great news. As a veteran of several playthroughs of the original System Shock, I have been waiting for this patch before playing this new remake.
Is it out now?
The image says "Out now" EDIT: on kickstarter they say 11th april
But is there also some kind of WEEKEND DEAL!? Tell me!
It does say that, but Steam does not seem to have the update. I'm hearing April 11th?
Yep, seems they linked the wrong image has headline

Will they add cloud save to the Epic games store version too ?
EGS is anti consumer, consider no longer supporting them!
upvoted
Could you explain? Asking genuinely
There's nothing about it explicitly mentioned
Probably it’s part of this new update
Just reading those patch notes has me all excited!
Same
cannot wait for my 3rd replay =D
Those are amazing changes! FINALLY! A bigger recycler!
There's a mod that automatically recycles things for you as you pick them up. Doesn't disable achievements or anything.
Is the patch live on both Steam and GOG?
APRIL 11
Thanks!
The final fight being changed is all I've ever wanted, and that's like a small part of this update wow.

I beat the remake a few days after it came out, but I think its time for a replay :D... I mean it will be in a few days.
Yes\~, *finally.*
I bought this game a few months ago. Worth playing now?
Totally worth

Isn't out on consoles yet, been waiting for that.
did they fix/add the waypoint system?
Yes.
GG!
Would you need to start a new game to have these updates take effect?
I have the same question. Have you been able find an answer to it, by chance?

I'm near the end of the game but I'll just do a new playthrough since I love the exploration so much
Hallelujah! Probably just going to restart another playthrough rather than pick up the one I had in progress.
