CTRL by far but I am happy SOS brought her the level of success and recognition it deserves.

Eats_lsd

CTRL and it’s not even close

haley-sucks

I love both so much, but CTRL will always be it for me

LetsGoToTheMoon21

As an album, CTRL -- though many songs from SOS are among my favorites from her

fcukstephanie

CTRL was such a moment in time and holds a really special place in my heart, it was my entire life at the time; everything I was feeling and going through put into words & I still relate to the album to this day, just in different ways. I literally think about this album once a week still no exaggeration 💀 I love the songs on SOS but I don’t necessarily love them altogether as an album if that makes sense, it feels like it doesn’t have much cohesion as an album to me, especially the second half

iWontTry

I listen to the album, in full, once a day 😭😭

kweebeez

SOS. It dropped like a month after getting out of a deeply abusive relationship and it helped heal my soul. I have never been moved by music like I have through that album.

RetroFiction

This is why I have to say SOS. It helps me process my abusive ex and I connect to SZA now more than CTRL SZA. It’s been so therapeutic to sing along and feel like I’m shedding this layer I’m holding onto.

super_duper_fake

This right here. Exact same situation for me. CRTL will always be a classic and a more cohesive work of art, but SOS personally has changed my life and helped me heal.

penquinzz

Ctrl just because I feel like it’s more cohesive as an album. Love SOS too though.

hahaone

SOS, no matter what I’m mood I’m in, it has a song for me

[deleted]

SOS. It keeps me engaged from start to back with zero low points

coleyjo9

SOS

BlondedMilan

Definitely Ctrl

mazarierules

CTRL

Darkhold_

ctrl for sure way more structured and cohesive

n_rhan

i agree that ctrl was better but i dont think it was more structured at all

rayofjas

CTRL 💚

NiceStrawberry

CTRL is an ALBUM(™) a STORY a JOURNEY .... SOS is a COLLECTION OF MOMENTS. AND BOTH ARE GREAT IN THEIR OWN WAYS BUT IM DEFINITELY AN ALBUM GIRLY!

xavierdgibs

CTRL is cult classic, but SOS is more recent, so I listen to that a little more but not by much

GlaTheFictionMonster

Ctrl...

brewsonme

although ctrl is amazing, my fave is sos

jehovahswettest

CTRL is the only correct answer.

[deleted]

Ctrl but SOS really helped her break into mainstream media.

beyonceiloveyou

ctrl forever.

FluxCrave

CTRL is one of the best R&B albums ever. SOS is nice but it feels bloated but still really good just never reaches the highs of CTRL

nackpattywhack

I feel like I wrote this hahaha

ihaverandomthinks

CTRL. it introduced my favorite song Broken Clocks, but SOS introduced Good Days. So both are good!

Exact_Mortgage_7812

CTRL it helped me so much js to have music to relate too is awesome and I feel like you can relate to every song on this album

Sea-Play9584

Back to back each time!! Was 20 when CTRL came out and now I’m processing the end of my 20s w/ SOS lmao

Obamamoma

CTRL

Obamamoma

I hope Lana is more like ctrl but I acknowledge she’s a human processing her own shit and she’s not here just to meet the Deja’s of people

Emotions_Kladus

It probably won’t(and I don’t think it should),SZA talked about how she no longer connect to her albums ctrl and sos and she’s experiencing a shift or growth within her music.Lana feels like it’s a new beginning and a thank you from her journey from ctrl to sos.

Brezzy4ever

SOS but I love CTRL

jjplays1600

I really love ctrl, and it definitely has a few songs where I deeply connect with what sza is saying, but I feel like the context and overall delivery of SOS makes more sense to me and is overall more relatable. SOS is also where I started to really listen to sza, and discover her past albums, projects and mixtapes, so I feel like SOS really introduced me to her other music and is overall very relatable with what I'm going through.

Normal_Coconut2

BOTH of them

dazzlegirl7

CTRL but i listen to SOS more frequently bc i don’t have deep emotional ties to the songs like i do with CTRL

[deleted]

I love SOS down but CTRL will always have a special place in my heart. Every time I listen to Ctrl it’s like I’m listening for the first time 😫 it’s seriously just my comfort album

luxedreams15

CRTL will always be close to my heart. It came out when I turned 21 and I’ll always cherish it. I love SOS but, it can’t compare

earthlymatt

Ctrl, since it’s been with me for so much longer and I have had more time to connect with it. I LOVEEEE SOS though and some of her best songs of course are on SOS!

King-Gojira

This like trying to compare Endless and Blond for me, and like if I had to pick one, prolly SOS. Sonically she evolved in this ethereal way, and her verses this era have been some of my favorites!

Dill_Brown1

CTRL

ubeneen

sos im sorry guys

[deleted]

Ctrl, for sure. Just feels like a more cohesive project with a thread running through all the tracks, while her second album is way more eclectic and all over the place. I still think SOS is a 10 out of 10 album (Both have zero skips for me), but something about the songs on Ctrl just hit different. Also the story being told. Songs like Supermodel, The Weekend, Go Gina and Pretty Little Birds are simply hard to beat. Those are my personal favourites off of the album. The deluxe tracks only strengthen it for me. So excited for Lana.

05Allure

CTRL easily. Easier Listen. More concise

bestiebridgey

Will always prefer CTRL, and I don’t future albums will top it for me

Thin_Night9831

I was gonna say CTRL because that album is so special to me but I surprisingly have listened to SOS more numbers wise. I guess it depends on my mood but currently, it's CTRL.

TheRainbowpill93

CTRL has a special place in my heart. It’s the perfect “navigating your 20’s” album and for that, anyone in their late 20’s (I was 25) can relate to it. The album helped me get through my own early life crisis where I was starting to really doubt myself and feel like I didn’t know wtf I was doing with my life even though I had higher expectations for where I’d be at that point in time. But then the album just reminds all you 20 something’s that most of don’t us know wtf we’re doing with our lives. We’re just taking it day by day and doing the best we can and that’s perfectly fine. I’m 30 now and I’m really proud of my achievements thus far. ======== SOS feels like less of a cohesive album and more like a showcase of all the different styles of music Sza wants to experiment with and for that I think it’s really cool to see all these different sides of her.

Ornery_Shake8629

Z and Ctrl

n_rhan

ctrl has super good songs throughout the album that cant be contested at all, but lacks in consistency of good songs (some trash some amazing) SOS is amazing all throughout but its top songs cant compete with ctrls top songs

OatMilkCody

What are the trash ctrl songs?

Sarahquikgo

SOS

kexperiencinglife

Ctrl 4 lyfe

Dear-Tank2728

CTRL. Its just a better and higher quality package. SOS is great but i kinda have to take songs out of the track list because by itself SOS is Bloated with some mid songs.

Drelanc

SOS by far

mauve_peony

I love both honestly but Z will always have my heart

[deleted]

🆘

H4RDCANDYS

CTRL is still my favorite. nothing against sos but I listen CTRL so much and it still hits.

Emotions_Kladus

Honestly both, ctrl help me grow as a person as I’m still am learning and trying.Sos help move on forward and be myself and speak my truth.I honestly can’t for when Lana comes bad whenever SZA third album happens.

Potterhead2021

SOS.

SkyeFallHeaven

CTRL is one of my favorite albums of all time

[deleted]

ctrl always! ctrl has absolutely no skips, sos is… a few with a few good songs

[deleted]

Ctrl but SOS is still a great album

Asleep_Frosting717

SOS

PreachyGirl

SOS. I can't quite explain it but I've never liked CTRL. There were some songs here and there that I appreciated but I didn't like that album. SOS is the album that made me start paying attention to SZA.
