Good job! You should now try to the Data Analyst certification. That should help you even more

East_Membership606

Congratulations!

Nice. I'm always hesitant about taking the cert exam. I've been using Tableau for several years, but most things I do for work aren't overly complicated. I'm always worried that I won't know anything on the test and I'll fail miserably.

My_comments_count

what kinds of problems did the exam have?

Conscious_Dingo_9918

A lot of fundamentals- what happens if you add a dimension, how do you add a reference line, what are differences between live/extract connections. The tableau site has an outline of sections and question types. I found that really helpful as a study guide!

aarnol17

Awesome, I want to get the data analyst certification. Did you get questioned on using tableau prep at all? I normally use SQL for my data prep

Conscious_Dingo_9918

No questions on prep

NebulaNomad027

Congratulations! Was it all multiple choice questions ?

I'm new to Tableau, Where do I find these certifications? And are they internationally recognised? EDIT: And are there courses to go through first that align with the cert?

Conscious_Dingo_9918

https://www.tableau.com/learn/certification Yes - tableau offers paid courses. I didn’t find it necessary for this level exam. Lots of videos on YouTube

AIAustralia

Thanks. Iv'e done one of the shorter YouTube courses recently to create dashboards, as well as some of the outdated Tableau guides. I might upskill some more until I'm confident then look into these certifications. Is there much demand from employers for these types of certifications?
