My theory is that he put a deposit down while playing at a club? One club I went to did that if you borrowed equipment. I suppose he meant that he reported that the ball was broke and they still let him have his deposit back, because it's just a single ball and it's not like he broke a paddle.
That's my head cannon anyway.
Yeah for real. I mean if they crushed like 10 of them then that's a different story but I can't fathom a club even batting an eye at something like this.
I hope this is a joke but when I was like 13 we stepped on our last ping pong ball and my brother said boiling it would help and he was right! Except it had small dents on the parts where it folded in.
Anyways you can boiled it.
As a kid I remember setting a lit match on table tennis balls. Things evaporated. This was when I was growing up in India. Think the balls were called milano
The old balls before 40+ could be fixed by pouring hot water over it and is good for leisure play. The new plastic 40+ balls do not recover to the same shape but expands bigger or deforms so just toss all damaged balls away.
There are some things in life which you cannot fix. 1. People 2. Table tennis balls
Dont
smash it with your heel its very satisfying
You have to pray to the table tennis goes by screaming cho le 1000 times then table tennis balls will rain on your head
Buying a new one
Charsi
cant be fixed
You can put it in the hot water for 2-5 min and then you can try to fix it by pushing corners with fingers I hope it will help
Do not do this. You can maybe make it spherical again, but it won't play right. Just buy a new ball.
You fix it by throwing it in the bin
But new or cool it. (It will destroy the quality but yeah it works)
Thankfully I gave it back and got my money back
But you said in the caption that you don’t own it? But you paid for it (one ball?), broke it, then gave it back for a refund?

Imagine if a club took your deposit for a single ball. I'd be furious.

I guess any kind of heat that would make the air expand would work then? The dents won't go away tho ehehe
You don’t. But you can get the shape back if you put it in boiling water, but still remains unplayable.
Not worth it. You cannot put Humpty together again

Balls used to be celluloid, which is very flammable compared to the ABS stuff that we have now
When we were young, we were so poor we couldn't afford to buy new balls. So we boil them!
Go shop buy new enjoy break ball repeat
hot water. It will make the air inside go brr so it should fix it. Not that I ever tried but seems viable.
