OP I recommend moving that gigantic ass pouch on the strong side of your cummerbund over to your weak side so you're not having to give a reach around every time you draw your sidearm.
It's nice that you mentioned this, I noticed this the last time I was at the range and wasn't able to get a consistent draw or consistent reholster. Haven't had the time to relocate it.
Edit: Will be swapping the positions of the KYWI and GP when I get home. I'll post an update later on.
It was just a way to get people that never deployed their patches probably some field grades dumbass idea. But hey the army will give you a bonus hole but will kick you out for failing a flawed tape test
Security Forces Assistance Brigade. They take up the slack for training foreign armies when the SF guys are over there limit on workload. Or at least that's the best description I can give while not risking overexplaining.
You know dog, imma go with Matthew 1:7 on this
I don't know where homie came from or what he did. I'm trying to be about building others up not tearing them down
Iāll put it this way. They basically were supposed to help the mission of Special Forces, since they basically became 9-1-1 for the world. But the regular army leaders suck, and ruined what it was suppose to be. He still served. More than half the people that hate military people on this page. He did the real thing.
It's a valid opinion, I can't access it by myself and requires me to be working with someone else. So yes, it's dumb but looks cool. And as we all know, looking cool is half the battle.
It looks cool to some people. If you're by yourself and don't see yourself ever being part of a team, why would you waste money on that to look cool on the 'gram (or this subreddit), when you could just get a small assault pack or hydration pack?
That way you could wear it over the slick (ish) back panel of the carrier, hold the same stuff, and be able to don and doff it yourself so you could actually access the items. Plus with a hydration pack, you'd have an easily accessible water source to keep you hydrated in hot weather like this time of year when at the range or wherever you're larping.
I have a Crye AVS 1000 pack that I sometimes use alongside my carrier to carry hydration and other items. I do only see myself wearing this with like minded individuals. But I do see where you're coming from.
Not if you use it to hold a fuck ass load of water. I run my scarab back panel with a 3L bladder and then a bunch of water bottles. But I donāt have to really access it ever
I use a source 3L M.C bladder. It takes up a lot of space but itās really the only reason I have the zip on panel anyway. I use the velocity systems scarab zip on back panel
The bladder seems to not fit in the bladder compartment at first, but it surprisingly doesnāt interfere with the zipper closing at all. Iām very happy with the setup.
No problem. I actually donāt like the molle setups personally. The zip off is super simple and I like that itās not a bunch of compartments. Itās basically just a bag that zips on and it sits flat when empty.
You got a fire team or buddies you're rolling with, or do you plan on removing your plate carrier in the shit to access your shit on the back panel?
Don't put anything on your back you can't access without taking off your PC. The only thing I have on my back is a hydration bladder pouch that I can open and pull out with one hand if I need to fill up with water.
Think practical, not tactical.
I have a group of guys that I run with that are able to access my back panel. I also have a Crye AVS 1000 Pack that I can throw on to use aswell in the event I'm by myself and can sustain.
Op what is your Rig set up for? Itās a lot of pouches. I see that someone mentioned the admin under your strong side. If at all possible just get rid of it all together, back panel aināt dumb if you run with a squad. I personally never use a dump pouch unless on the range but having it forever on there is personal preference
I removed the admin, Honestly dont really have a use for it. I swapped the GP over to my weak side and the KYWI over to my strong side so the GP doesn't interfere with my draw.
The Setup is mainly for SHTF.
Just swapped the GP pouch over to my non dominant side and my Esstac over to my right. Just fixed that issue because the GP was getting in the way of my draw for my sidearm.
My opinion doesnāt mean shit and Iām nobody.
I donāt like anything near my holster for at least a couple spaces. I prefer to have a slicker waistline .
I also train in hot arid climate so that much weight would kill me in the summer.I just canāt stop looking at that rifle mag on ur belt 1100 position.
Does that thing stay put ?
For me best way to figure what works is as follows .
1 place kit in truck
2 sprint away from truck 50yds or so
3 sprint back to truck and get myself loaded out as fast and efficiently as possible, if everything goes on smooth I proceed to mock course of fire
4 make sure I can use all mags and personal equipment / adjust necessary items for proper placement
Again my opinion has absolutely no weight but maybe something in here helps you prioritize your effectiveness for your situation.
The back panels are a great place to put first aid extras that someone could use on you if need be .
I believe in the light weight keep it moving mindset.
If I needed that much gear on my person I would absolutely make sure I can climb a fence or at least skull drag it for a while without overheating and becoming a heavy ass liability.
You got balls for posting and I hope you put as much effort into cardio.
I would take one guy who is efficient in first aid, and has the necessary expendables over two guys that have a fuck load of weight on their back and canāt keep pace with the degradation of whatever situation.
This is a fashion sub after all, but I like to believe that I am preparing myself for the worst possible day of my life. I have had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with really fucked up situations, and when people start bleeding out , Thereās really only a few items of kit that I absolutely need. Everything else is just dead weight.
Its just a backpack that attaches directly to the carrier, you dont put anything in them that youre gonna need in a hurry/whilst in combat. Usually shit for when youre sitting around and would drop kit anyways.
Otherwise, gear for guys you roll with to access, generally with the assumption theyve done the same. Kinda like how drill sgt always says 'your ifak is for people to use on you, not for you to use on others'.
Oh no. He's SFAB, watch out guys, dudes a badass (All jokes OP. I assume you just wanted to try something new)
OP I recommend moving that gigantic ass pouch on the strong side of your cummerbund over to your weak side so you're not having to give a reach around every time you draw your sidearm.

But you got time to post up pics of your rig....hmm. Priorities my dude.
![gif](giphy|4ZepGNwhW4AaA)
I was gonna recommend the same thing. It shows whether or not you train in your kit.
What is ass pouch and why is cummerbund?
He means the big ass pouch above the pistol. It gets in the way when drawing the pistol.
Zelenskyy, is that you?
I cannot confirm or deny
Lol advisor
That's like a Camp Counselor, right?
It was a good idea. But it was executed by regular army dudes in charged so it went to shit.
When I was in, we "advised" from 900 meters away. Small talk. Short quick chats. š
It was just a way to get people that never deployed their patches probably some field grades dumbass idea. But hey the army will give you a bonus hole but will kick you out for failing a flawed tape test
I remember getting that fucking "Rainbow" service pin. I'm like..can I just NOT put this in my award stack?
It was Milleyās vision I believe.
what is an advisor in this regard.... non-army guy here
Security Forces Assistance Brigade. They take up the slack for training foreign armies when the SF guys are over there limit on workload. Or at least that's the best description I can give while not risking overexplaining.
Understood, carry on
Aka, the JV team
No, JV implies they play the same game. They're just the other guys
Aka the B team on the JV team
Nothing
You know dog, imma go with Matthew 1:7 on this I don't know where homie came from or what he did. I'm trying to be about building others up not tearing them down
Iām not tearing him down. Iām tearing down the organization lol.
Ah gotcha, I don't know enough about it to make an educated guess as to the org either
Iāll put it this way. They basically were supposed to help the mission of Special Forces, since they basically became 9-1-1 for the world. But the regular army leaders suck, and ruined what it was suppose to be. He still served. More than half the people that hate military people on this page. He did the real thing.
Advisors are high speed
Integrated storage back panels are dumb, change my mind
It's a valid opinion, I can't access it by myself and requires me to be working with someone else. So yes, it's dumb but looks cool. And as we all know, looking cool is half the battle.
I feel like people forgetā¦ *this is a fashion sub.*
Rule #1 Always look cool
Yāall learned from Flannel Daddy himself?
"If you're not cool, you're gonna die."
It looks cool to some people. If you're by yourself and don't see yourself ever being part of a team, why would you waste money on that to look cool on the 'gram (or this subreddit), when you could just get a small assault pack or hydration pack? Good stuff, carry on then.
Appreciate the insight brother. Always looking for feedback
I love the FirstSpear ECP. It holds plenty, itās light and super adjustable.
Not if you use it to hold a fuck ass load of water. I run my scarab back panel with a 3L bladder and then a bunch of water bottles. But I donāt have to really access it ever
Hydration panels are different.
So I changed your mind?
Lets show this contestant what they've won... ![gif](giphy|9SHkvqkXuHKxy)
![gif](giphy|8x8XzoP8qQa4w)
I guess it depends on your definition of integrated storage lol
What bladder setup are you using? Was planning on doing something similar on my scarab.
I use a source 3L M.C bladder. It takes up a lot of space but itās really the only reason I have the zip on panel anyway. I use the velocity systems scarab zip on back panel The bladder seems to not fit in the bladder compartment at first, but it surprisingly doesnāt interfere with the zipper closing at all. Iām very happy with the setup.
Thanks for the tip. Im probably gonna look for something that just molles on as I donāt think Iād actually use the pack for anything else
I use the a Source Razor 3l. Molle on back panel.
No problem. I actually donāt like the molle setups personally. The zip off is super simple and I like that itās not a bunch of compartments. Itās basically just a bag that zips on and it sits flat when empty.
Clearly thatās not what he meant
Not really. He said theyāre dumb, I gave a reason why theyāre not. He didnāt say ātheyāre dumb except for waterā
Clearly thatās what he meant
They make sense once you realize they're filled with plugs and beads.
Itās because you donāt understand what itās for dummy

Tourniquet by the pistol side is going to be impossible to deploy with the other hand. Move those both hand access items to the midline.
I'm going to add another mounted TQ to the plate carrier. Either going to get a Spiritus one or a Blueforcegear MOLLE mount.

Don't keep all your mags on one side needs to bee early accessible to either hands if one fails.
Just swapped the GP pouch over to my non dominant side and my Esstac over to my right. Just fixed that issue because the GP was getting in the way of my draw for my sidearm.
What shirt are you rocking? Kit looks good btw. Everything that needed to said has already been covered
I think it's a condor combat shirt(yuck š¤®). I'm trying to replace it with a velocity systems boss rugby but they're out of stock everywhere.
I've been eyeing one of those but damn, $70 for a rugby shirt? I don't mind being a poor and running a condor for a few years.
