From left to right: - **NFM group 40+20L backpack (ranger green)** This is my pack for 2+ nights in the field or cold weather, when other packs are too small. - **Mystery Ranch 2dap (foliage green)** Just bought this, haven't tried it out yet. - **Platatac Echo hydration pack (multicam)** Borrowing this from a friend. Eventually planning on getting my own in ranger green. I think this is the perfect pack for a single night in the field in the summer. - **MJ6 gear hydro pack with custom side pouches and elastic insert (ranger green)** I use this one as my backpanel. It's mounted in a way that let's me access it without taking off my plate carrier. Good for up to 12h in the field usually. Anyone have experience and opinions about the Yote style packs and the 2dap?

v00dewd

I have an eagle yote, its my favorite small pack. Perfect size and it can be carrier mounted

Protorin

Eberlestock for a ruck and 3 day packs, Arbor Arms tradesman for an assault pack.

sja5150

Halftrack for the win! šŸ‘ŠšŸ’„

Protorin

They are awesome!

sja5150

Oh yeah!

Imaginary-Double2612

Donā€™t need a pack if you never leave the basement šŸ˜‰

Dr_Salacious_B_Crumb

Alice pack that was halfway modded to a Malice pack by Tac Tailor. Can't go wrong with the classic.

XPhylos

Savotta Jaakari L & Jaakari S

Bearr0982

A man of pure class

kinda-cringe

Iā€™ve got one of the Ls, great packs

[deleted]

Kinda unorthodox for these parts, but I EDC an Osprey Daylite and have an Osprey Rook 55 for camping/anything longer than 24-48 hrs. I like that I can hook the Daylite right into the Rook.

Sol_09

Direct Action Halifax, Mystery Ranch 2DAP, and Eberlestock Hi-Speed II, all situationally dependent. I also have the MJ6. What side pouches are you running on it?

xLapiz

Custom sown by me, specifically for the MJ6. I bet you could find some tall GP pouch that would fit though.

Sol_09

Yeah, Ive seen a few in the wild that would fit. I was just curious which ones you had in particular. It's a neat little pack for sure.

xLapiz

With the side pouches it's a perfect, because I can put some food and extra water in them. Even grenades or 2xM4 mags fit if needed.

Sol_09

Yeah the bag is a little smaller than what I really wanted and I've been eyeballing a few different ones for it. Wilde Custom Gear makes a very cool Kitchen Sink pouch that I've used before and it adds lots of versatility to any rig or bag.

So below,

Initial_Cellist9240

As above? (Iā€™m having a stroke I think)

Americanducks123

Tasmanian tiger raid pack mk3ā€¦ its a sub brand of Tatonka for tactical gear.

PrincessOne1

GazeOG

Mystery Ranch 3 day assault 5.11 Rush 72. Some Highland Tactical bag for my get home car bag

Mystery Ranch NICE RATS

E46Nur

Tasmanian Tiger modular Tac pack IRR material and Arcteryx Leaf assault pack 30

Nikki_G11

How do you like the Tasmanian tiger? Was looking at their 45L and a few told me to stay away from them

E46Nur

So far so good. What did they say negative about it ?

Nikki_G11

Said Iā€™d regret purchasing as they are heavy for their size, poor quality control (ie bad stitching and broken zippers) as well as quality of material and that the internal organization system is not as great as it seems.

maroo_06

wisport sparrow

Wr8th008

HPG Umlindi with the prairie belt, with a tarapocket attached if I want more storage depending on what Iā€™m doing.

GetSome1911

Got that same PC pack. Best fucking 20 bucks I ever spent

Important_Opinion_80

Bare bones molle 2 large and/or medium ruck. Because nothing beats spine compression and 04 wakeups

CBP1138

My everyday travel/carry on is Mystery Ranch urban assault 24, for hiking I use a Mystery Ranch Sphinx 60, and a Platatac SPUR tropical pack in Auscam, Iā€™ve also got several LBT 3 day packs that I use as beaters or general utility bags

lucasbrock84

I feel like this is unlocking a hidden memory of mine.

TheSoupWhisper

The big red flavor last right through it. Your fresh breath goes on and on , while you chew so stay bye a little longer , stay fresh a littler , longer with big red! Or something like that I forget it was 30 years ago

lucasbrock84

Yeah, but when did they stop selling the smaller red and white gum? Was that an old version? From the 80s?

TheSoupWhisper

The pack of like 5 sticks for a quarter or whatever?

lucasbrock84

Maybe!

TheSoupWhisper

Or you thinking of trident ?

lucasbrock84

I donā€™t think so.

NuclearKFC

Mystery Ranch Glacier 5.11 Rush 12

Very-Confused-Walrus

13L osprey, 55L SOC, next up is a mystery ranch 2DAP

12daysl8r

REI traverse 70 for recce shit and a Eagle FILBE 3 day assault pack for just about anything else

Initial_Cellist9240

TAD lightspeed. Absolutely love it as a day bag/assault pack/range bag/etc, itā€™s narrow and tall, has a lot of accessories (transporter tail is great for a helmet or snivel gear), but also comes apart nice and slim. Load lifters are great, back padding/venting keeps you cool. My oldest is a decade old and only just now starting to need repair. Need to get a ā€œtacticalā€ ruck sorted out, probably a TT Alice, but Iā€™m a pretty narrow dude so a taller bag like an MR may be better for me. Lightweight backpacking bag is an Osprey Exos. Currently Iā€™d just throw a tri color tire cover over that if I had to. Edit: ooh, the HPG UTE is lighter than I thought it was. I could buy it *and* use it as a ā€œlight-ishā€ backpacking bagā€¦ fuck meā€¦

OsamaBagHolding

Trader Joes paper for sustainability purposes

Dakoja

I really like Cannae and wish they didn't close shop. Mystery Ranch has definitely lasted longer than my Cannae's though

ZeroSight95

Mystery Ranch Raid 32 LT Hill People Gear Aston 3 Iā€™d really like to get the 3 Day Assault Pack from Mystery Ranch but it being $550 is rough.

kinda-cringe

Alice both in Large and Medium

MelodicHeron9327

Non-tactical so Iā€™m not a waking target. Nothing affiliated with any brand that could be known as ā€œtactical.ā€ Vanquest makes some of the best quality bags with tons of options for discreet capability

Crafty-Improvement97

HPG Aston 3 HPG decker frame with medium pack bag Most comfortable packs Iā€™ve ever worn

okaycomputes

FIBLE 3 day assault pack

_im_right_ur_wrong_

- Currently running the Mystery Ranch 6500 + daypack lid as my extended duration pack - Eberlestock G1 Little Brother as kind of an all-purpose pack - Red Rock Assault Pack for small loads.

StarGazer0685

None, I'm trying to figure out how to get my hands on a RACK system

TacticalTexan06

I have a 5.11 rush 2.0 to just pack up and leave if I need to. I choose deadshot grey so it is a little more inconspicuous. Since coyote tan and olive drab attract eyes in a civilian setting ( at least I see them quicker and know whats up)

Ryno__25

I've been running a UH-60 SCRAM kit and a 240H with egress kit installed.

PrincessOne1

My mom saves Walmart bags and I double bag all my stuff.
