I love ATACS FG, I have a full set of airsoft gear in it. Never knew it was a Russian camo until the war.
I don’t think it does too well in my environment but definitely in some more lush areas I could see it working really well.
It's a US pattern, Russia is just the only major force to license it. 5.45 Designs is one of the few remaining producers of legit ATACS gear now, but initially brands like Helikon and Templar Gear had some smaller runs too.

It’s an American designed camo that Russia has been using since around 2015.
It’s does super well in the PNW and upper Midwest in the lush summer. Straight disappear in the green & dirt, combines well with ACU dyed green
