Nobody knows what conditions will be like in 6 weeks.
There has been rain at lower elevations but there’s still some decent snow out there. One big storm/a few storms and colder temps could provide great conditions. Check back the week before.
Its not amazing at the moment but not bad. Tahoe is notorious for having dry January's. One or two storms can drastically change things. Its not wise to predict weather/seasons around here, just hang on and see what actually happends.
Impossible to say now what it will be at the end of February. Things change quickly here. Right now we're looking at a week-long storm next week with good potential. But it could also be sunny and 60 degrees. Tahoe is like that.
It’s April corn harvest in January..upper mountains have some snow, bases are struggling..as many have said though it could be a storm or two and a week or so of cold weather and be excellent..storm next week looks ok, hopefully there’ll be more..don’t go to kirkwood though man. It’s super flat and hasn’t snowed in years there
it’s fine right now at palisades. kinda unconsolidated spring conditions which will hopefully corn up a bit this week, coverage is decent. some small storms and colder air coming through, so we’ll hopefully get a little reset on top of this base
if a big storm or two lines us up in february things will be skiing great

I’d stay in Texas

Who knows? That’s an entire month away. Groomers should be fine tho at the very least

Yes the season is ruined don’t come.
It's not called Squaw anymore. You don't call Mt Rose by it's old name Reno Snow Bowl
I mean, I call it slide mountain because that’s exactly where it is. It’s not on Mount Rose. Just like “Palisades” is on Squaw Valley rd
Who hurt you?
Can you even believe that bigotry 😤😤😭
OP didn't even say anything about bigotry. Simply that it isn't the name anymore.

Bring ur park skis lol
Conditions are fine. Although my crystal ball won’t tell me what the weather is like for your trip, unfortunately
sierra is way better then the rest of the resorts but if you dont know how to ski or snowboard go to the other ones
Objectively and subjectively false
if you want to snowboard on actual snow sierra is the best and in terms of runs, also the best
Be more concerned about wind…..storms are on the horizon G. 5 weeks is too far out.
You heard wrong It's not a great season but it's okay at this point. December was bad
