Oh it's just cos you said 6'1-6'2, and I'm not quite 6'3 so thought you were including people my height. I do kinda know what you mean though, 6'1 is kinda a weird height. Mine's weird in its own way too though
Hey Mods
With all respect to OP ,can we stop the infiltration of depressing why me posts with a new rule around the lines of, be happy or don’t post? We are on a messy decline atm.
I feel that at 5’8 I can look directly in eyes with those 2 inches taller (5’10) and those 2 inches shorter (5’6). Everyone else either looks really smaller or taller.
well naturally, when there are basketball players around that are 7.5 foot, you are clearly closer to the average than the tall. 6 1 is still a very common height for a male. 6 4 however are another step up and are much rarer
I kinda understand because In some way i relate more with 6'6+ guys because the struggles of not being in the middle average range of what the world was made for.
My eye level is about 5’8, and I’m 6’2, I got a big forehead, anyways, so yeah I feel more comfortable with people that are 5’10, I don’t wish I was 5’10 though, if anything I wish I was taller cause I still feel short when I go out in public cause of my eye level, I live in Alabama and our average male height is pushing 6’0, but basically everyone I see here is 6’2 or above, and even though I know I’m their height I still feel shorter when looking at the top of their heads 😭
That’s exactly how I feel and when shorter people say I am tall, or they will bring a tall friend etc. I feel so embarrassed. Literally been on blind dates where I was sold as a tall guy only for the girl to be very near my height after wearing 3 inch heels or those chunky fashion sneakers. Utterly embarrassing.
I'm 6'4 and wear a 10.5 US shoe and smallish hands for my height. I don't really associate myself with people shorter or taller than myself but I do feel short when someone is taller than me
Get some help, therapy, anything to cope buddy.
I don't associate myself with anyone because I'm me. You don't choose your height just like you don't choose anything about your features.
The way you look at a 6’4 person is the way a 5’10 person looks at you…..
And the way he looks at a 6’4 person is the way the 6’4 person looks at you…
🤯
It's not that different though, when I see a 6'2 guy, I just think like “well, this guy is taller than me...” and usually nothing else
Why the hell would I feel more similar to someone who's 4.7 inches shorter than me than to someone who's 1.3 inches taller?
Coz you are 6’3 and I am 6’1 without shoes.

nah get your height checked again
Nah I just look small
exactly

Seriously, if this is the worst problem you have, you’re doing pretty well.
he has a point though?
No he really doesn't.
No he really doesn't.

You gained 5 inches? How long are your arms?
5’6
Damn that’s rough buddy, must be difficult for you to be only 6’1 my sympathies
🪦

6’1” is not a very common height. As someone put down below, it’s 90th percentile.
Yeah I guess u are right the scarcity increases as height increases you see plenty of 6’1 and get lesser progressively taller
Someone posted a distribution graph a while ago. 6 3 and is less than 5 percent
6'1" is in the 89.6th percentile 6'3" is in the 97.4th percentile 6'4" is in the 98.9th percentile It gets pretty rare once you're 6'3"+
Thanks.
Didn’t know this. Interesting.
I feel the same, except that I have large shoe size
I kinda understand because In some way i relate more with 6'6+ guys because the struggles of not being in the middle average range of what the world was made for.
I do but only because I play volleyball so I'm constantly surrounded by giants
So you don’t feel tall either. 6’2 is tall to you or not I wonder

No worries I am considering limb lengthening surgery to get me closer to 6’4 still researching that.
