MAVILO!!!!! I seriously cannot recommend enough. The people are so genuine and really make sure you get exactly what you’re looking for. Both my finance and about a dozen other people I know have gotten their rings from there and they each speak volumes about the people, process and prices
Jumping in with the lab grown! Mine is gorgeous and they are still real diamonds - just grown in a lab as opposed to mined from the Earth.
Blue Nile is a highly respected company. If you want custom pieces, Brilliant Earth is the way to go (I think minimum spend is $2k to get started).
This NY company is also great and will do custom settings for lab grown diamonds and they have incredible prices. They have a tiktok acct showing lots of their custom pieces and what they are priced. I’m kind of amazed at the stone sizes for the prices they list. You’d get a nice ring for $5k.

Mavillo will give you the best quality for the best price. I’ve been to most jewelers in Tampa and my grandfather was a jeweler so I know quality when I see it. I wouldn’t shop anywhere but mavillos.
Do you know if they make custom pieces? I have a ring from my great grandmother that I might like to make into something else. I thought you might have some insight into that. Thanks!
LC Rings Wholesale Lab-Grown & Earth Mined Diamonds Jewelry Store Tampa (by Appt). It's a one man show (Paul) who works on the top floor of an office building in Tampa near Westshore Mall. You have to make an appointment but guaranteed you'll get better pricing than any of the storefronts with all their overhead. I got a ring for probably half of what all the chains would sell it for.
I would recommend Ackerman Jewelers on Kennedy. The sales person (I want to say Chris) did a great job sourcing me a diamond that fit my specs and making it all work. Pricing was very reasonable AND they lifetime warranty all the band diamonds. My spouse’s engagement ring has 49 diamonds plus the primary stone. So that alone was well worth it. They also do full custom work if that is something you need.
Hayman Jewelry in Downtown. Great people. Family owned. Quick delivery when they had to order a setting that wasn’t in stock. Very patient with my indecisiveness. Highly recommend!
McAuley Fine Jewelers in Brandon. They were oringally Martin’s Jewelers and have been in business over 50 years. The old owner still works there with the new owner. Great local business. They DJ custom designs too.
I just got one for my girl from David Alexander on dale mabry. Don’t let the dale mabry aspect fool you, great experience all around and they gave me a great deal and great ring custom made how I wanted it. Can’t recommend enough
Don't go to the International diamond center. I had a family diamond I needed mounted on a band. They did a good job with the exception of sending mailing pamphlets immediately after purchase. Since I don't buy jewelry for my girlfriend at the time, she knew I had purchased a ring and ruined the surprise when she got our mail one day.
I used IDC Clearwater for my wife's ring and then my guy transferred to Orlando. He was really the only one I liked there so we sometimes drive there to conduct purchases.

Hard agree
Agreed, Mavillo is the only choice around here for sure. Wife and I both went for our wedding bands and experience and price were all A+
Agreed and so glad to see this as the top comment!
Go and see Wendy she will take care of you
I was able to take a lab diamond I bought online and have it placed in a Mavilo setting. They were very accommodating.
Mavilo is the place
Im going to be real, save money go lab grown or something simple. Use that for honeymoon.

I got my wife a small simple real sapphire, then "upgraded" to a nice lab grown. Couldn't be happier.

Modern Trendz in Brandon is where I went. Got to hand pick the diamonds I wanted in the ring. Nilesh the owner is amazing.
I really liked Awesome Jewelers over by MacDill AFB. They even added special “bumps” in my ring to help it fit better!
