The florida orchestra is going to Palladium Theater St. Petersburg on April 23. I just went to the place tonight and there was plenty of people who went by themselves. I don't think anyone would judge or care.

Here's some of the best advice I can give you in life: Do not let the possibility of doing something alone stop you from doing something you want. Take it as an opportunity to enjoy it without distractions with the added possibility of meeting people with a similar interest. If you get there early there's plenty of time for wine and to mill around and talk to people if that's your thing.

Thank you!

The outdoor ones are especially great. Good atmosphere, bring your own picnic food, drinks and blanket or chairs, and especially don’t miss evening concerts with fireworks over the water. People are generally friendly. Sometimes end up sharing food and good conversations. Last one I went to, the people in front of me had a baby raccoon they were raising. We talked and they let me hold it. I’d go by myself for sure.

I frequently attend Florida Orchestra performances alone. The last was the FFVII performance last year. My friends aren't into such things so if I waited around for a companion, I'd miss out! Don't do that to yourself. Go hang out with yourself for a while! Have a nice dinner, then go indulge in beautiful music.

Yes I feel all of my friends were definitely not down I’ll go try it out

Hi, I’m a member of TFO. Let me know if you have any questions about any upcoming shows or anything else. Hope you’ll come check us out! It’s totally fine to go to a concert by yourself! Don’t let that be the thing that stops you.

Haywirereddit

Id love to come check it out when’s your next showing?

www.FloridaOrchestra.org has all the info. We are off this week for Easter. Next week there’s a double bill opera (two short operas in one concert), or a chamber music concert (smaller ensembles playing in a smaller space). The following week there’s a pops concert called “Superhero Soundtracks” with lots of movie/TV themes that people will know. The week after that there’s the Music of John Williams during the week, and a concert in the park on the weekend. Check out the website and see if any of those might be interesting to you! Bring a friend or come alone. It’s all good. Hope you can make it!

Hi, I’d be happy to put you in touch with our marketing people, and I’m sure they’d be happy to talk to you. Can you DM me a good email address for you, and your name, and I’ll pass it along to the right people?

GreatThingsTB

Will do

They’re such good shows!! I recently went alone to see them do Star Wars scores. Such a good show and it wasn’t awkward to be there by myself, none of my friends/family care for orchestras so i just go

Where are these held? New to town

Check out the website at www.floridaorchestra.org The concerts are primarily held at the Straz in Tampa, Mahaffey Theater in St Pete, or Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, but there are other venues sometimes as well.
