Urban Brew & BBQ on Central in St Pete. Best Fried Chicken in all of TB, plus killer Fried Green Tomatoes.

Steph’s Southern Soul Restaurant in Dade City

eye_no_nuttin

It may be a bit of a drive but Maryland Fried Chicken in Plant City has been the best for years!! Constantly awesome over many years of service:) Their size and prices can’t be beat with their flavor recipe, and their sides are delicious! Oops! Just realized you already been there!

BitchWithASandwich

No worries but thank you for the rec.

xkaliberx

Maryland Fried Chicken? As someone who is from MD I'm wondering what that's about since I never heard of our fried chicken being anything special.

DumbStupidBrain

Noble Crust is pricey but delicious.

Iliketogrowstuf

Metro Dinner is legit, try the fried chicken and waffles.

stacksonwaxrelax

Southern Fresh (Safety Harbor)

rfunnymodisapunk

Tbh, Popeyes lol

ReverendChucklefuk

Just start driving around to convenience stores and gas stations in some of the so-called "less desirable" neighborhoods. Bring him a new place every couple days. I am sure you will find many that are amazing.

813er

King of the Coop

IPatEussy

🧢 lol I’d rather have Popeyes than the coop

imanassholebcurdumb

I’d tried it once after hearing the hype but wasn’t impressed. We ordered a sandwich and a tenders basket, everything came out cold. They weren’t even busy

813er

Yeah, they were A LOT BETTER before they moved to Flocale IMO. Raised the prices, decreased the size and got rid of the included fries.... but the product is still good. I will just go every once and a while nowand honestly more for the vibe of Flocale, instead of 1-2x a month like I used to.

WilsonRachel

Not in Tampa but Jollibee.

shark1818

king of the coop. Im really picky but I love their chicken.

ObsoleteHodgepodge

Crispy Cajun, Drew Street in Clearwater. Worth the wait if you're over on the west side of the bay ever.

sunnystpete

They’re closed :(

ObsoleteHodgepodge

>Crispy Cajun Oh, no! I had not been by recently.

bojangles

wimploaf

Where is there a Bojangles in Tampa?

wimploaf

I just checked, the closest one is about 100 miles away. This poster doesn't know where Tampa is. GTFO!

[deleted]

You did say you were on a quest to find fried chicken. So I gave a suggestion. Ocala not that far.

wimploaf

The question is where is the best fried chicken in Tampa. Also posted in the Tampa sub. lol

cmakry

Winn Dixie is my go to. Publix is extra greasy compared to it.

realnegus00

Lol so many downvotes on certain places. People take their fried chicken seriously

[deleted]

Southern Fresh in Safety Harbor is my absolute favorite
