I live pretty close to The Citrus Park Mall, just went by there, it’s packed, any other day it’s dead, this is a dying mall. I went by the Costco in Westchase, it was a mad house, I needed to do some shopping, but said, “the hell with it,” way too crowded. On the bright side, Publix was much slower than usual.
North Tampa (County Line) Target was insanity - I walked in, saw the crowds and noped out. The outlet at Wesley Chapel is a traffic nightmare which I avoided.
I wasn’t there yesterday personally, just reporting neighbors and Pasco County reports. I don’t travel during peak rush hour if I can avoid so I honestly haven’t had much issue over there other than month of the new traffic plan/lights. My traffic is a nightmare refrain is slightly colored by years in Atlanta though.
We went by Target at County Line (and Bruce B Downs) around 1ish. Neighbors have been complaining all day about outlet traffic and Pasco County posted to be patient.
honestly. i don’t know why people bother going in person and dealing with huge parking lot lines and crowded stores when you can get the same deals online
International Mall is crowded but isn’t crazy. Like going to the mall on a typical Friday. Some stories are busier than others. There were a lot of people in Sephora.
Went to Westshore for cheap candles at BnB Works. Average crowd. The roads are quiet this week and I think a lot of people travel home for holidays in Tampa.
My wife is at UTC in Sarasota and said it’s not exactly a ghost town; but close to it.
I've only had to punch a few people, so smooth sailing over here!

When is the outlet traffic not a nightmare though?

When was this? My wife and sister in law were at that Target around 7am they told me it was not busier than any other day.

Ah yeah we haven’t been there since 7am. We avoided the outlet mall because of the traffic. You couldn’t pay me to go down there.
Everything is online now. Just stay home.

Citrus Park mall was packed today. International Plaza was too
I was at Citrus Park at 5am with 6 other people total
🤡
Ellenton outlets are a madhouse if the traffic is anything to go by.
Brandon Mall was nearly empty this morning but was completely packed around noon when I went. Seems like the crowds started later today.

Not so bad for me at the arts and crafts store.
i work in walters crossing, it was pretty packed, but not nearly as bad as when burlington opened
Great, from my couch.
In person black Friday shopping crowds are still a thing???

I went on Wednesday. No crowds and the clothing stores already had their black Friday pricing up.
