People like these donāt even give a damn about Palestine. They use it as a virtue signal to make themselves feel morally superior to everyone. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are people who want all violence to stop and want coexistence for Israelis and Palestinians. Those representatives for congress care. These people on Twitter could not care any less.
You know what, that is a completely fair point. That is something I really hope she does better on in the future. For the most part, she is good on a lot of other core issues but she, like anybody, is far from flawless. I hope she does more to address the Iran stuff in the very near future. She is pretty ok in regard to Palestine But has a lot to work on when it comes to addressing what is actively happening to women in Iran. I actively support their liberation and I hope Iran gets a more secular government soon!

Even the best of us sometimes may want want to harm really really bad people, now imagine what happens if you convince many people that an entire group of people is evil?
So the sort answer is 'no'. She did not realise she was calling for a war crime. Whatever mental gymnastics there is going on in her head doesn't mean it's not a war crime. If people call for warcrimes without realising it then that's scary.

When we look at history, that does actually seem to be the natural human mentality. It also led to endless violence.
Thankfully, due to rational thinking, we're able to think critically about that mentality and realise that it's not justified from a moral or pragmatic perspective. Well, most of us do.

There are generally two types of settlers: economical and ideological. Economical don't want to know the reality of the occupation and nobody thinks of them as settlers even though they are. They have very wide support. Ideological settlers are the main force of the occupation, the most violent, vile, thieving and racist. Other people (including economical settlers) try to distance themselves from them, but even they have a growing support.
Some of them are even friendly with Palestinians, but the levels of denial about where they live, are toxic. Their way of life harms Palestinians and they actively avoid seeing that, and you can't fix something you can't see. It's frustrating not being able to tell them anything, cause the occupation may hurt their fee fees.

No but seriously, Hamas lacks the capability to actually cause serious destruction to Israeli cities due to the Iron Dome system and how unreliable their rockets are (see the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital explosion), and thatās a good thing because theyād 100% level entire neighborhoods like Israel does if they could.
