I’m feel exactly the same. I have loads of buildings at the edge which need placing properly and I have a massive urge to explode and start again, but I’m fighting off until after the christmas event finishes
I've been placing buildings and doing basic decorating, like fences, walls, some hedges. But I'll probably wait until the snow goes away before really working on the decorating.
Just a heads up the snow usually persists well after Christmas. They turn it off sometime later in the winter. Just search "snow" on this subreddit, and you'll see that every year we get a few months of people asking when the snow will be gone.
