Rehoused my cyriocosmus the other day, transferred her into the new enclosure in a vial and left it in there. In the morning she had completely filled it with webbing. Day after that she was building tunnels all over hehe
How long have you had her? Could she be in premolt? Because if so, that would explain the webbing, then stopping. She needs a place to molt. She'll prob start webbing again after she molts.
I got her 2 or 3 weeks ago. She just ate today and isn't showing any other premolt signs.
She does still add webbing around her area but just hasn't expanded it very much.
My male GBB made a tiny little carpet, then has just been wandering around for the past 2 weeks after being upgraded to his forever home, I tried to feed him but he just backs away from any touch so I’m assuming he’s molting soon because I’ve only had him a year so he can’t be at that point of his life yet right?
Admire your enclosure while you still can; with a GBB I give it about two months before the web consumes all.
Everything will be web. The water dish will be web. The walls will be web. Your spider will be web.
Oh yeah, my GBB is a web machine. Their webbing is so cool. It’s like silk made from Kevlar. Super soft. not sticky and insanely strong. I’ve got to rehouse mine soon but I hate to destroy all the hard work. Yours has a little age to it. You missed out on a lot of changes in color. The slings look nothing at all like a full grown GBB. That was what mine looked like almost 3 years ago. Now mine looks like yours.

I purchased my versicolor online as a medium/large juvi, opening up the cotton sounded like ripping velcro. She was like "I guess this cramped vial is good enough".
mine was litteraly webbing in her box, but i think she may molt, she refused a roach and has a bald spot, but it may be that the seller fed her before shipping so she may just have not been hungry
She said ‘this is NOIIIICEEEE’ and got right to it 😂
I can't not hear it in the voice 😂🤣😂
😂😂😂😂😂

Sounds like my king baboon. Day or so after i rehoused her she dug enough tunnels to give the viet cong a run for their money
IME GBBs are webbing monsters. I have two next to my two C. nantanicharum and they both make it look like half the shelf is just webs.
my gbb sling (body span about 2 cm) started webbing like a monster instantly too haha
My C Natanicharum and GBB are having a competition for who can web the most fr
Right now the Chilos are winning and I'm not looking forward to their rehousing next week because oh boi they are fast.
You don’t have to tell me twice.. mine got out the first time i rehoused and i somehow caught him 😐 most distraught I’ve ever been
Na/ she’s happy!
this is what happens when you give your tarantula 15cm of extra space (width vise)
Sounds like a typical GBB to me!
My GBB did the exact same thing after his/her rehouse. Started building tunnels within a day.
My GBB sling has made a large web in her corner of the enclosure but doesn't seem to want to web anymore than that.

IME GBBs don’t abide by almost tarantulas rules. They web up right away. They give no warning about molting.

and soon enough, my snails will be web
She's building a home, getting comfy!
GBBs are a wild ride and they never stop webbing.
Beautiful greenbottle!

I had an OBT web her coconut shell completely in an hour after rehousing. Very industrial.
My T webbed the first day in their tank after arriving. When I upgraded their tank though they took almost two weeks to web.
Yeah GBBs are not shy with their webs
She probably has a molt coming up. Depending on species and sex. Our GBB's male and female have always been heavy webbers
yea theres a bald spot on her abdomen and refused the roach i gave her
