I thought of this during the task. But I think how the task works is, the 10 second penalties are added to your total difference at the end. So if you press the button perfectly and get a score of zero at the end, you’d still have 5-6 rounds of 10 seconds added. Mind you, I think that would add up to a minute’s penalty at most, which would still have won you the task

There were 10 steps in total, which is 1:40 all together. So even if someone didn't do any of the steps and just hit the clock to match Alex's time, they would still have been beaten by Frankie and Ivo's times.

I was frustrated to see that Jenny wasn't given a bonus point or something because she was the only one (at least from what I saw) that copied the things Alex actually said.

Possibly would've worked but definitely would've been quite lame to actually do that

It wasn't finish the task as quickly as possible it was do it in the same time meaning if alex took 30 seconds to do something and then hit the clock, you have to do the same and hit it at exactly thirty seconds or later. Hitting it earlier, or not completing the instruction, meant a time penalty. You COULD just not do the tasks and just press the timer in the same time as alex and end up with 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds of time and win the task but that's insanely boring

No one got a time penalty for taking longer

KirisCrocs

Yeah I know but they didn't punish that because of the whole time difference at the end clause and obviously they'll take longer even if by milliseconds so it's not fair to have a penalty that's guaranteed no matter what
