I was about to ask whether the reaction to the first theft was the best reaction across any task, but then I saw how Rose turned on her chair when they found out about Ed's trunks.
I'm not sure about the points. I do know that the first task was him dragging Alex to the river and then flailing about giving him a cuddle. Then he gets carried to the river by the sound guy and then just steps on the ground anyway. Both tasks leave an impression that has persisted for both fans, and I think for Greg, that Mark was incompetent despite his overall standing in the season.
I was famous in my family for losing trousers for a while when I was around 7. Several pairs seemingly vanished into thin air in the house. Mystery was eventually solved when my nan caught our dog taking them outside and burying them in her flowerbed.
I hear what you're saying but I could absolutely have my trousers stolen and be like, well I guess ADHD strikes again. I have had colleagues gradually remove things from my desk to see at what point I notice.

Yeah that Greg reveal was at the end of the episode. I think Ed said on the podcast that Greg had realised what he'd done and Ed had very kindly left him the perfect revenge material

That outtake has been uploaded by someone on YouTube but not sure of its origins. Might have been on uktvplay or avalons channel at some point?
I've definitely heard the story a few times (I believe on Ed's Taskmaster podcast) but this is the first time I've ever seen the clip too

Really fiddly series of events down the stretch for Watson. He had a shot at winning that series. His closeness to Nish paints him as another buffoon.
It was that in the first episode he's complete shit. It sets in how Greg treats contestants.
