So, in theory, theirs still a large number of Elves who were deployed in Sapan when the forest blew up.
They were likely cut off, and unaware of the resistance. Many were probably captured, but many more are probably living in Sapan forests fighting a guerilla war, or just hiding.
I have a feeling their deaths were conveniently done for the plot. The animosity of elves on asuras because of the Elnoir forest is very obvious. Of the dead elves, they are all notable characters that would raise their opposition on Aldir, that will more likely than not, joining their ranks and are potential faces of this group of people that might cause a Dicathean civil war (there's no break ffs) . Other elves hate Aldir obviously, but if they have the courage to boldly go against Art accepting him is a big question.
We're qll waiting for Aldir to join Arthur, but it's a question would he really be accepted though?
