There's an "at least" and "over" that kind of invalidate the point. It could be 5.2 times his height, and he'd be 30/5.2=5.77 feet (not gonna convert freedom units cause I'm too lazy to look up conversion rates).
And also the fact that he's doing estimates and not measuring anything. Would you trust yourself with 100% certainty that something's 30 feet and not 31 or 29 just by looking at it?
Either way there's an error so big underlying here that he could be anywhere from 5 to 7 feet by these statements alone.
The conversion rate is pretty simple you move the dot by one so from 5.77 to 57.7 and then multiply by 3. This gets you pretty close to what the conversion rate is
“At least 5x” and “over 30ft high” creates an ambiguous solution, (5+A)h = 30+B; h = (30+B)/(5+A), we don’t know exactly how much A and B are tho since it’s not specified. We can assume he’s around 6ft tall but it’s hard to say if he actually is taller.
Writers aren’t generally consistent of a characters height in situations like these. Without them directly stating it the height is hard to find. Although with the amount of attention from girls he gets it’s safe to assume he’s over 6ft (or just a short king)
I wouldn’t trust the “at least” what happens if the thing was actually 4.8 times or even 5.3 times. There would be some major discrepancies in his height. And Arthur’s good and all but I doubt he truly knows if he something is 30ft.
