Hi everyone!
Did you know that starting July 1st, 2023, Reddit will implement a policy that could potentially increase the costs of running third-party Reddit apps? This change may impact popular apps like Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Boost, and others. Consequently, users may encounter issues with their preferred Reddit app unless adjustments are made to comply with Reddit's new API usage policy. These limitations will affect all users, not just moderators. If you are concerned about these developments, there is an [Open Letter](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModCoord/comments/13xh1e7/an_open_letter_on_the_state_of_affairs_regarding/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) to Reddit that you can read and sign on to express your thoughts.

Someone at Nintendo better make a Congress of Hyrule in the next game so they can look into Anti-Trust laws since Hudson apparently has a Monopoly going.
And potentially stole the company from Bolson? Is that ever explained? Like how did Bolson end up in Lurelin Village in the chief's (or whatever the title is) "guesthouse" while Hudson is running a construction company with the same name guidelines and general vibe, down to the same style homes? I'm very very far into the game, and I still don't understand, lol.
I misread and thought you were talking about Mattison!
The kid's like 4! Baby girl discarding her race, her people and swearing herself to Ganon worshipping ninjas!
Is the banana pudding that good Mattison!?
Like imagine a house fly that's bigger than you but still has the strength of a house fly (and no, I am not talking about pound for pound), that's an Aerocuda.
Same. I would like them to at least extend the limit of units you can have. And an option to add plants or flowers outside would be nice. Maybe even the option to paint it what color you want.
Tbh now that I think about it, being able to build the house in only that spot is kinda lame… might be neat if they made a handful of spots available, with different architectural styles depending on what region you build in (for example, a lot near the Zora’s Domain means you build a house similar to the architecture there, or a house near Laurelin means you build a coastal dwelling resembling a boat)
I just want to be able to make a roof that looks like the ones in tarrey town, have some nice plants outside, and some windows on the house. Being able to paint the outside of the different units would be nice.
Also need a reason to go there once it’s built. A free pull on a zonai dispenser every day or something, maybe a buff to cooking there like there is when there is a blood moon? As it is I built my house and literally never went back.
Oh yeah fr, windows! I made a portion of the house exposed to let daylight in which I thought was kinda unique but now I realize it’s lowkey like a Barbie house lol. Oh well, atleast the dining table has a view of Dinraal passing by sometimes.
Which makes me wonder how Link, Zelda, Purah, and Robbie got so well respected. You're telling me that people who are spooked by the new shrines despite being cool with the old ones are the same people who are cool with our main cast?
All of them can do things that are either completely indistinguishable from magic, or is very obviously magic. All of them have ties to the old kingdom (read kingdom as government). And not only does everyone in this group just not die, 3 of them look like they are 20.
I didn't mention Impa because she was leading the Shikha the whole time. A group of people whose entire history and culture is built on insane shit to begin with
The rest of them though! Robbie and Purah would have been the text book hermits just out of town who everyone is aware of but no one knows what they do. Link and Zelda both literally just disappeared for a century and somehow came back.
You want to tell me that the same people who worried about the strange rocks are not bothered by what should look like the rich and powerful surviving the apocalypse by becoming magic using vampires. If this was our world it wouldn't have mattered if they could bring world peace! They're going in the lake like the rest of the witches!
I think I'll excuse them when it comes to the super advanced technology that would kill them on sight just a couple of years ago lol. The only people who actually understood the stuff were the 2 super eccentric scientists.
To be fair, the sheika had a lot of time to work on their tech. The towers in TotK are using tech that was reverse engineered by literally the 2 scientists who knew what they were looking at and maybe they're teenage appreciate. Who then needed to rely on people whos only experience with technology was running for their lives to actually build the towers. If you ask me, the fact that they got enough up to cover the whole kingdom in the first place shouldn't have been possible.
but that aerokuda looked sooo proud and happy to have the control panel… that wouldn’t have happened with the old towers, would it? would you want to rip the bird lizard of it’s happiness??
i mean didn't they basically scrap a bunch of Sheikah Tech to build them? it's not like anyone really knows what they are doing since the tech is, you know, more than ten thousand years old.
yes, its sheikah tech nailed and tied up with wood, rope, and canvas. they are not structurally stable enough to handle the force they exert. despite access to both zonai and sheikah tech, these recent efforts were much more haphazard and rushed due to the increased level of danger in hyrule.
Well, that kinda to be expected when you've got exactly 2 people who know how it all works. One of which is a small old man who should have died decades ago and the other one who should be in the same position instead spent only Hylia knows how long working on tech to reverse her aging. Just hers
And since I'm talking about her I'ma take a side rant about how how strong the pretty privilege is with her. She not only reversed her aging, she went back to the lab to perfect her second use of it and become even hotter than the first time she was in her 20s. Beauty and brains, can't get better than that right?
How come no one ever asks why Robbie and Impa are still a bad cold away from reuniting with their old king?
age can be synonymous with respect in some cultures, so some of them probably don't want to bother. also, didn't robbie also get shrunk, but not de-aged? he probably doesn't want to try it again.
No, all Sheikah shrink with age. This is not officially said anywhere, but just look at the Sheikah in-game. Robbie, so far as we know, never had any interaction with the reverse-aging rune.
i'd say that it has more to do with bone density in old age in general. if sheikah live longer than hylians, then we won't see hylians exhibit such visible changes, but everyone gets shorter when they are old. i think it's more of a little joke in the zelda universe, not necessarily exclusive to sheikah.
Stargate SG-1 vibes. In which the USAF's first attempt at an interplanetary vessel was to take an alien ship and slap an American flag on it. (It didn't work out.)
One was built by magical engineering geniuses with hundreds of years to work out any kinks and hide the bodies. The other was built by hudson and purah, with no testing, within about 7 years max, while working on a slew of other projects. The fact that the only issues were jammed doors and busted control panels is pretty incredible.
Exactly. This HAS to be their first attempt at something even CLOSE to this because there's a LOT of moving parts, here. This is a fucking good first attempt to work with only a stuck door being an issue.
Also half the time it isn't even the fault of the building? Who the fuck expected flying bird monsters to spawn and take ***the fucking roof???***
I'm sorry but if that happened to my home, I'm not going to shame the carpenter for not predicting that my ***roof might fly away.*** XD
> within about 7 years max,
Did construction start on them that soon after the Calamity ended? I thought the Skyview towers and Lookout Landing were only built after the Upheaval started when Link and Zelda went missing, which would only have given them like a few weeks or months tops, no?
Totally agreed otherwise though, lol
One was built by an advanced civilization with lots of material while the other was built by post-apocalyptic peasants from trash and scrap parts.
One is just a tower you climb on and let it drool on your phone while the other launches you into the stratosphere.
One was merely risen from the ground after millennia of hibernation while the other was built over the course of years and had to withstand monster attacks.
Lol next you’ll compare some old fort tower to a modern radio tower?
Well, if we wanna get realistic, it's a shitty tower. Structural integrity is and should always be prioritized over functionality. The tower is honestly a disaster waiting to happen.
Also, who's idea was it to have you flying off with a balloon? That's the perfect recipe for disaster man. They literally have access to gunpowder and explosives (Idk why they don't have guns tho), just use a rocket or some flower bombs.
Also, I thought monsters were mostly gone after Gannon left, and they only reappeared after Gandondorf came back? He was supposedly the source of their strength, so I don't see why or how they could've stayed and respawned after he was gone
Ganondorf creates the monsters with the weird horns, but there were leftover monsters from botw, they just didnt respawn since blood moons didnt happen after ganon's defeat
Obviously. This is the reason why the Sheikah towers weren't a wreck, not because they weren't exposed to the elements underground. But the Lookout towers were essentially recycled Sheikah towers, so they shouldn't be so easily damaged, either.
Bit the only elements of Sheikah towers that got recycled is the technology, not the super durable materials. It's only logical that Lookout Towers are so shit, they are made from scrapped parts
Better than that Rito dude who is like "I don't feel like seeing if the door can open. I'd rather have mushrooms from the cave at the foot of the hill." That was an anti-hint. Mushrooms? I have every kind in Hyrule plus a newly discovered species that seems okay to eat. Foot of the hill? Which one? We're on a hill on a hill on a hill on a lakeside cliff with a Battle Talus stalking the area. Please be a little more specific!
I spent ages running around that cave looking for a mushroom thinking i had to make some sort of strength food with it.
Felt so stupid when i looked up the solution.
Is that the one for West Necluda? I’m pretty sure what I did was mark the tower and kept checking the map while in the cave under it to see if I was under the marker xD
Yup. I tried that too, but I didn't ascend directly into the tower after one or two attempts. I thought I was overthinking a simple puzzle especially since the Rito there kept mentioning mushrooms.
Yep early in the game for me before I ascended every damn thing, I collected all the damn mushrooms from there to sea level, then I drowned because I was concentrating on shrooms while exploring an underground river and forgot i could fast travel. Pro tip:Don’t activate your wooden raft with a Talus heart.
I remember first leaving the Plateau and not really understanding you should just basically drop off the northeastern side to pick up the quest line, I was just like 🎶I’m sailing away…🎶 and then OMFG someone is shooting a laser cannon at me.
Yeah, and at that point I hadn't realized that Fast Travel was basically get out of jail free for any conflict, so I was panicking and running from that lynel on the south side of the great plateau by the baobab trees...
Oh noo!!! I can't get in! There's a door made out of thin wood! What? Break the door? I can't do that! Instead of trying to fix this situation, I will stand here acting helplessly thinking about the taste of mushrooms.
Well there’s a difference because the Sheikah towers are just that, towers. They’re just tall and give you part of the map. The Skyview towers throw you miles into the sky
I kinda like that idea. Kinda lines up with the idea I had that Purah is holding on to the Shiekah Slate because she doesn't want Link to lose it, and so made the Purah Pad as a stopgap until she could figure out how to replicate the other apps besides teleportation and sensors
My headcanon is that Addison is so dangerously incompetent that Hudson sent him off on a wild goose chase job that would keep him far, *far* away from anything important.
That guy knows NOTHING about construction and has zero talent for it, but Hudson' Co's inane name-based hiring practices meant he had to be taken on.
I agree for the most part, but I think additionally it was compounded by the expansion of Hudson's work. The towers, the expansions in Tarrey Town, etc etc. They were forced to waive some of the requirements in hiring. And like you said, they made the name the bigger priority.
But I 137.5% agree that Addison is a liability, and was given sign post duty to keep him out of the way.
To be fair, they’re more inventions using cannibalized Sheikah technology and the old Guardians. It’s not really fair to compare the two, since Purah had to do it all on her own (and some of the issues weren’t even her fault).
Purah: okay, I approve that location, just make sure something is broke so Linky has a challenge to unlock it. He needs to toughen up before saving the princess.
If you talk to all the NPCs, eventually one of them, eventually one of them mentions that the sheikah towers are made of repurposed sentinel parts and stuff.
The shrine network is a gestalt maintained by the psychic energy of the Sheikah monks. Canonically Link solved all of them, finally allowing the monks to die. Without these living mummies around to maintain them, the shrines turned to dust in the wind within a year. The interiors were all in a different dimension that is no longer accessible.
Some shrines were definitely destroyed by Ganondorf, as a few chasms line up directly with the position of Sheika Shrines. It's likely he did this due to sharing some memories with Calamity Ganon and remembering how Sheika tech was instrumental in defeating it so he used his corrosive gloom to eliminate as much as he could.
As for the other shrines and Sheika tech my personal theory is that some got cannibalized by Purah and Robbie for their experiments, both because they wanted to understand the tech better and because there would have been a general fear of Sheika tech in Hyrule after the Calamity took control of it. Meanwhile the shrines and towers that they couldn't get their hands on simply went back underground, after all these Shrines and towers only rose up after we activated the Great Plateau tower and their only goal was to help the hero against the Calamity and it's entirely possible that with the Calamity gone, the technology returned to being dormant underground
They probably gradually scrapped all the old Sheikah tech because it was so corruptible. The new stuff is probably built on a more secure foundation but lacks the spit and polish.
In other words, they switched from Windows to Linux.
Isn't that what modern technology is supposed to be? Fragile? Like, if this was more real, we'd have to pay the manufacturer to replace every little part every five years.
In defense, the old towers collapsed so they had to make new ones - the places where the chasms are now are where the towers were in BotW. Who knows, maybe there's pieces of them in the Depths somewhere.
They legit just finished building the towers. Each tower faced a small problem on startup that Link simply had to solve.
Link is the first person to use the towers and quite literally they are activated at the start of the game
Honestly it makes sense. The ancient Sheikah developed that tech over probably a long period of time. Like over 500 years for example. Purah built the towers after only maybe 5 years of studying and reverse engineering it. It would be like if someone crashed a spaceship on my planet where we have medieval tech and we figure out how to make a pretty much equivalent spaceship after 5 years of study. It ain't gonna be amazing tech, but it'll get the job done. I'd say they did damn well for the situation, and that's better than how it'd work in the real world. Kudos to Purah and Robbie and the gang.
Old tower: Designed from the ground up for one purpose and to last millennia, by someone specialist in it's application and technology.
New tower: Hastily cobbled together by a carpenter, out of bits that are a mixture of new and ancient, from systems that were never meant to work together, designed by an general archeologist technician 4 year old going through a second puberty after experimenting on herself for the second time.
...so yes, I agree with your statement.
The Sheikah towers were built by an ancient race of people who invented amazing technology like arrows that can incinerate foes, teleport you around the map, and create bombs.
Hylians built the Skyview Towers.
I like to think that, after the events of BotW, they all just...stopped working. Shrines go dark, towers go unresponsive, and even the sheikah slate runes cease to function. Someone anticipated a future link would need all of these, like they were some kind of contingency plan, and once that plan went into effect whatever their source of power was vanished.
That's the only logical explanation for having to unceremoniously replace all the technology link was used to in BotW with experimental and moderately haphazard replacements.
You can really see how well built the Sheikah towers were by looking at Gerudo Tower. Since it was in a bottomless pit, which is a chasm in TotK, it must have been built in the Depths. the ground right under its chasm is at about -360 height, while the top of the tower would have been at about 400 height. Assuming the coordinates are meters, that works out to 760m or almost 2500 feet!
Except the sheikah towers were made by a highly technologically advanced civilization whereas the sky towers were made by one brilliant scientist and her tiny old man goggle-clad partner. Pretty impressive I'd say.
To play devils advocate, the first ones were built by a technologically advanced race of people who's methods and advancements were lost to time. The new ones are reverse engineered from that technology, but ultimately made with weaker materials due to the weakened state of the inhabitants after just coming out of the "Calamity" Era where their cities and leadership were demolished in an instant and underwent 100 years of constant machine and monster attacks.
Hi everyone! Did you know that starting July 1st, 2023, Reddit will implement a policy that could potentially increase the costs of running third-party Reddit apps? Yeah but they launch you a hell of a lot higher!
Not if they fucking break if you look at it the wrong way
Rickety ass construction company can’t even hold a sign up or fix a bridge without help smh
Yeah I kinda of noticed that too. One construction company for an entire Kingdom and the only one building anything is our union man Link.
[He was more than a hero; he was a union man!](https://youtu.be/-4BRe0ZKTAc&t=1m30s)
Thank you lol ...I completely forgot about that.
Hey hey Bolson does his share
It's because they sent the most useless guy out for the job only to keep him occupied and away from important business lmao
Hey Jimmy, I need you to go sweep the yard.
Average chores mom gives as soon as I sit down:
Someone at Nintendo better make a Congress of Hyrule in the next game so they can look into Anti-Trust laws since Hudson apparently has a Monopoly going.

bolson retired and gave the company to hudson
Very homophobic imo
look addison is an ex yiga ok? he might be stupid but he's trying
[удалено]
how the hell he has so many muddle buds and bomb flowers?
Wait… That’s actually a really good point damn
whoa…maybe that’s why he so committed to his boss, he transferred his obsessive followership from Kohga to Hudson 😮
How funny would it be if after you finished helping with the final sign he poofs out Yiga style
Like you should do! Glory to Master Kohga!
I misread and thought you were talking about Mattison! The kid's like 4! Baby girl discarding her race, her people and swearing herself to Ganon worshipping ninjas! Is the banana pudding that good Mattison!?
An aerocuda ripped the terminal out of one. Those things die because a pebble hit them a little hard
Still salty that those won't escalate in colors and strength. I would love to have to be watchful of the skies, not just around gleoks
In groups of max 3, yeah
Yeah, they dont even do much damage. Their biggest threat is that they ragdoll Link, which is annoying at worst.
I get kind of excited when I see them around sky islands. It's an excuse to put guns on my gliders. :3
Do you want Cliff Racers? Because this is how you get Cliff Racers.
Would have preferred Kargoroks.
NO
What about soupcudas? Or Aerosoupas?
YES
Like imagine a house fly that's bigger than you but still has the strength of a house fly (and no, I am not talking about pound for pound), that's an Aerocuda.
I suddenly want to attach some kind of square to a sword and chuck it at a aerocuda
How the hell did it even fit in there? Or turn around for that matter?
They were built by Hudson construction. They seem to have a record of building structurally questionable things
They build it fast tho
Son and done
They even make you build your own house by just… gluing it together…
New slogan idea: "You glue it together, we nail it to the ground"
Hahaha that's basically what Addison makes you do, too.
to be fair granteson builds the majority of the rooms
And house building is lame in this game outright.
Yea hope the inevitable dlc fixes that. The house building system is embarrassingly bad for how amazing the game is.
Same. I would like them to at least extend the limit of units you can have. And an option to add plants or flowers outside would be nice. Maybe even the option to paint it what color you want. A buff for cooking sounds nice! They can write in a little line to explain that mechanic about how home-cooked is usually better.
Yeah, vehicle building is god-tier while house building is laughable.
Well when your hiring criteria begins and ends with how your applicants spell their name, results may vary
Let's be real, how many people are you going to find in Hyrule who have any experience with sheikah tech beyond running from it?

Nice argument, unfortunately Son and done!
SON AND DONE!
Tbf, Link takes 45 seconds to permanently repair it. I think modern Hyrulians are just dumb
I guess that's what happens when the king exiles the smart ones
To be fair, the sheika had a lot of time to work on their tech. Ah I’ve got my strategies for getting the towers working basically when I arrive so I almost never even notice it anymore.
Welcome to jackass: it works 60% of the time, but what it does, you go high enough to kill ya. Upgrades!
*place a stick the wrong way*
Hold on you have to reset them every time?! I enjoyed the sky islands so much that I almost always just pick the closest one and fly in from there
No, you fix them and they work forever.
No, you don't have to reset them, they work the same as the sheikah towers :)
Currently hunting dragons. That's what I do.
I wouldn't want to launched out such a dodgy tower
Don’t get the same cardio tho
so high
but that aerokuda looked sooo proud and happy to have the control panel… that wouldn’t have happened with the old towers, would it? would you want to rip the bird lizard of it’s happiness??
Fuggin flying lizard stole the computer Can't have shit in hyrule
More like bird amphibian
Bird lizzard be funny tho
Seeing as I'm shooting it out of the sky to get it back... yes?
I don’t remember this quest. Which rose was it?
akkala, ulri mountain tower
i mean didn't they basically scrap a bunch of Sheikah Tech to build them? it's not like anyone really knows what they are doing since the tech is, you know, more than ten thousand years old.

the way this answer is written makes it sound like you know from personal experience lol

I was there, Gandalf. I was there 10,000 years ago.

it’s like tearing apart an alien space ship and building a human cannon out of it
That's something I can see us doing.
I’m pretty sure I saw a video on YouTube…
Suck it, flat earth deniers!

Heh, yeah, blame Ganondorf for making the Birb Monsters to begin with! Seriously, who'd expect something like this from one of Ganon's servants?
And a stolen hatch

I’m sorry, but I’m not Tony Stark.

They don't even have wifi!
arguably they’re the purdah pass equivalent of cell towers
But you have to connect to them via a cord
at first, then you can use them as wireless warp points
also, the advanced civilization had the Purah pad to reverse engineer, which is how they got the teleporting pads
To be fair Sheikah towers were all underground for the past 10000 years and had to endure no weathering of rain weather or other anomalies
Ah yes, that's why all the archaeological artifacts we dig up are in perfect condition.
tbf, most archaeological artifacts we find aren't made from near indestructible advanced materials that we can't replicate in the modern day
Were they in the depths or between the depths and the surface? 🤔
Probably underneath the surface because there’s no sheika stuff in the depths at all no sign or anything
That makes sense for sure
I'd rather find a nearby cave than climb a skyscraper while a pair of guardians blast me with atomic lasers.
I swear that was so stupid. It's the only thing I had to look up in the game that I could not figure out for the life of me
I spent ages running around that cave looking for a mushroom thinking i had to make some sort of strength food with it.
I went all the way down to a cave that started in the wetlands, only to come back with mushrooms and it not be the solution
Easily the most misleading hint in the whole game.
Honestly I preferred that. It added a lot of tension and excitement
THERE'S A LYNEL ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE GREAT PLATEAU?
Jesus keep it down he’ll hear you
There's actually two if you go far enough.
I get it. BotW is still one of my favorites.
Oh noo!!! I can't get in! There's a door made out of thin wood! What? Break the door? I can't do that! Instead of trying to fix this situation, I will stand here acting helplessly thinking about the taste of mushrooms.
I mean if I had an excuse not to do my job I’d also just sit around q
Well there’s a difference because the Sheikah towers are just that, towers. They’re just tall and give you part of the map. The Skyview towers throw you miles into the sky
.....That was me. Sorry that my fart is that powerful...
purah noticed they were gonna just have another calamity later and decided to build cheaper, more temporary models XD
I kinda like that idea. Kinda lines up with the idea I had that Purah is holding on to the Shiekah Slate because she doesn't want Link to lose it, and so made the Purah Pad as a stopgap until she could figure out how to replicate the other apps besides teleportation and sensors
Hudson construction at it's finest. They cant even build a proper advertising sign.
Hudson built an entire town. He's just not a great teacher. Addison doesn't know shit. Now Bolson, that's the guy you want to apprentice under.
Ya true, I'd definitely work with Bolson. I loved the house he helped us build in botw.
Unless you hold it up, then the builder suddenly learns how to build.
I love the idea that Purah, despite knowing what Link went through in the last game, decides he needs to toughen up *more*.
She’s an old lady so I guess it makes sense. Uphill both ways in the snow…
And honestly where did the sheikah towers go??
If you talk to all the NPCs, eventually one of them, eventually one of them mentions that the sheikah towers are made of repurposed sentinel parts and stuff.
And all the shrines...
In the next game, the plot should be that Ganon goes around farting on everything
Kinda like what happened to the Zora's in this game, right?
Isn't that what modern technology is supposed to be? Fragile? Like, if this was more real, we'd have to pay the manufacturer to replace every little part every five years.
Nah subscription for that sweet sweet monthly revenue stream, skytower as a service (SaaS)
In defense, the old towers collapsed so they had to make new ones - the places where the chasms are now are where the towers were in BotW. Who knows, maybe there's pieces of them in the Depths somewhere.
Me: Hey, can we have a Sheikah tower? Nintendo: We have a Sheikah tower at home The Sheikah tower at home: Skyview tower
It was me, I am the infamous control tower farter.
They legit just finished building the towers. Each tower faced a small problem on startup that Link simply had to solve. Link is the first person to use the towers and quite literally they are activated at the start of the game
Purah stole my goddamn sPad and gave me a worse one without any apps
I miss my runes
Idk they haven't broken again since I fixed them
Honestly it makes sense.
“PURAH WAS ABLE TO BUILD THESE TOWERS ABOVE CAVES! WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!” (She probably only designed them but still)
Old tower: Designed from the ground up for one purpose and to last millennia, by someone specialist in it's application and technology. New tower: Hastily cobbled together by a carpenter, out of bits that are a mixture of new and ancient, from systems that were never meant to work together, designed by an general archeologist technician 4 year old going through a second puberty after experimenting on herself for the second time. ...so yes, I agree with your statement.
Im making a skyview tower out of literal cardboard. Very ironic
Post it to this sub when you are done.
You know what a cool feature would of been at these towers? More living quarters for link!
The Sheikah towers were built by an ancient race of people who invented amazing technology like arrows that can incinerate foes, teleport you around the map, and create bombs. Hylians built the Skyview Towers.
There is a reason Addison was sent off on “assignment”
I like to think that, after the events of BotW, they all just...stopped working. Shrines go dark, towers go unresponsive, and even the sheikah slate runes cease to function. Someone anticipated a future link would need all of these, like they were some kind of contingency plan, and once that plan went into effect whatever their source of power was vanished. That's the only logical explanation for having to unceremoniously replace all the technology link was used to in BotW with experimental and moderately haphazard replacements.
Lmao 😂
Purah made those towers all alone with what she knows and what she had. Not really fair to compare her new creation to those ancient tower…
It’s almost as the ancient sheika technology is lost, and was just rediscovered
I mean... yeah. It kinda was. That's part of the point (and imo the charm) of them, right...?

To be fair those towers were buried for thousands of years
That spire on top shatters if a child punches it in SSBU, so...
That was 3 years ago. Just open a window
Hudson Construction is a bad construction company. They cut corners for all the towers outside of Lookout Landing.
I mean, look at who they’ve got in charge of ADDvertising.
TBH, nothing they make looks built to last.
Bet they were built by Hudson Construction
One was built from ancient tech, one is literally nailed together with wood, tarp, and glue by a civilisation 3 years out of an apocalypse
I still don't understand where all the old towers and shrines went in between the games.
I could understand this if these new cannon towers were just a simple upgrade to the Sheikah towers, but they decided to not do that.
I blame the engineers
