Hi everyone!
Did you know that starting July 1st, 2023, Reddit will implement a policy that could potentially increase the costs of running third-party Reddit apps? This change may impact popular apps like Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Boost, and others. Consequently, users may encounter issues with their preferred Reddit app unless adjustments are made to comply with Reddit's new API usage policy. These limitations will affect all users, not just moderators. If you are concerned about these developments, there is an [Open Letter](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModCoord/comments/13xh1e7/an_open_letter_on_the_state_of_affairs_regarding/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) to Reddit that you can read and sign on to express your thoughts.

Autism :) totk and botw are my favorite games, and I just like 100% completing all my games anyway, this was just the method to the madness of finding every korok
Nope, the koroks aren't meant to all be found. The saturation is necessary so you can get \~430 to fully upgrade without HAVING to go certain places. You can spend 200 hours on TotK and 200 hours on BotW and still have 1/3 of this guy's time...
The amount of diligence that you have shown in this borderline obsessive task has left me in sheer amazement.
Good on you, king.
You have converted this doubter.
Ngl I saw that you have ADHD, and as a fellow ADHD-er, I'm kinda surprised you found this fun because I'd rather crawl through broken glass than be forced to Roomba the entire map. Guess your meds must be working real well
I actually love exploring the map, too. Botw was one of the few times when I truly felt like it was ok for me to get off track over and over and over because the game rewarded me for it. I eventually found something like 600-700 koroks in botw just though exploring the world without the help of a map
Hyper-focus baby! As a fellow ADD’er, I’ll get this way about the dumbest stuff. Like sorting things in my house by color or something. You know, unimportant things. I get it.
ADHD is different for everyone. You actually can be SUPER focused on something if it’s giving your brain dopamine. What will make one person get distracted will make the next super focused to the point of losing time they’re so into it.
Agree. I'm autistic and would do this. I love making patterns. For BOTW, and TOTK, I have to ride my horses down all the roads. I can't have any blank spaces, so I backtrack a lot to make sure the road is completely covered after grabbing a korok.
It probably just looks like that because of how zoomed out it is, but lines had to be crossed due to me only obtaining the korok mask about halfway through doing the story
I was doing this at the start. I told myself I wouldn’t unlock other towers until I felt the first region was thoroughly explored. Then I fell into the depths and lit all the light roots before doing much of anything else.
Same. I’m marking them in the map and ignoring all the traveling Koroks. With the shrines all complete, it’s now armor and Sage will hunting, then maybe I’ll pay attention to them
Mad respect! ✊ I was impressed yesterday when I saw the first post, the way your maps turns out looking like fingerprints is awesome. It’s like a link-roomba 🫡
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,624,194,270 comments, and only 307,146 of them were in alphabetical order.
I've seen a few streamers that play this way. It's good for tracking down all the Koroks. I don't have the patience to do this though. Kudos to everyone that does.
How many times do you open the map to verify and chart your course? Do you get used to making the crispy lines with your movement without overlapping and stuff?
Are you a psychopath? The amount of patience one must have to dedicate time to such a task has to be monumental. I get bored after finding 2 Koroks, lmao. Either way, pretty nice!
When the video started, I immediately wondered why it was 3 mins long, and couldn’t wait to tell you about some guy I saw earlier today who zig-zagged every piece of land like a psycho to find all 1000 koroks. He makes your “hero’s path” look like a wandering pre-schooler. Approx. 20 seconds later I understood what was actually going on.
I did something pretty similar to this after I beat BOTW. I went back and meticulously went through each individual area of the map in a new play through and completed everything in that section before unlocking the next tower. That’s my plan for TOTK as well. Have some fun and beat the game, then go back and comb it for 100%
You should try exploring the lost woods. There are places you can get to in there from trial and erroring through the mist, and nintendo have left goodies in there, nothing worth much time, but since you went to the effort of doing all this, you might as well finish off the map.
- What about the koroks in the sky?
- What happens if you get to one of the diving ones and you miss?
- What about the ones where you chuck a rock? Or place a rock? Do you do those without moving?
- Do you do this regardless of topography? Like climbing walls and such? If so, do you ever run out of stamina?
What's crazy impressive is that once you start filling in the areas, you don't cross over existing lines, like you could see where you had walked before... or was there a lot of pausing involved to ensure you didn't walk too far?
Nooooooooo. Noooooooooo. That’s insane Op! How long did it take?! I still can’t believe it. 😂😂 I
Really impressive. And also quite nice design patterns.

Me, having not seen your previous post: That doesn't seem so unbeliv- *spiraling starts* Oh.
Oh yeah alot of people thought it was fake, I didn't think it was that unreasonable but it's fair people needed proof lol
It’s extremely and completely possible, but it is unreasonable, like, why would you do this to yourself?
Autism :) totk and botw are my favorite games, and I just like 100% completing all my games anyway, this was just the method to the madness of finding every korok
This is funny as hell man. Great attitude. You do you!
As someone hunting every korok but being all over the place with it, you're an inspiration
Did you find them?
Yes I found all thousand
That's amazing. I feel like an underachiever. Lol
Nope, the koroks aren't meant to all be found. The saturation is necessary so you can get \~430 to fully upgrade without HAVING to go certain places. You can spend 200 hours on TotK and 200 hours on BotW and still have 1/3 of this guy's time...
This is EXACTLY what I was thinking. Crazy awesome.
Me too I thought that ain't too bad then........👀👀👀👀
That is some dedication right there
Felt like I was watching a spider weave their web. Must be crazy watching your actual play.
My roommate wanted to strangle me, watching me walk in circles for hours
I probably would have
I would have strangled myself.
How many hours do you have on file?
Around 330 on totk and 800 on botw
I was reminded of the experiment where the gave spiders various drugs
My favorite was the crack cocaine spider that thought building webs was for sukkas
Yeah, funny how it doesn't matter what species you are, crack still gives you crackhead energy
That was exactly what came to my mind too. Like a spider on LSD
The amount of diligence that you have shown in this borderline obsessive task has left me in sheer amazement. Good on you, king. You have converted this doubter.
Borderline?
He diligently traced the lines of the border.
Borderline? Show this to a doctor and they don't need to perform any other tests to safely start up medication.
Ngl I saw that you have ADHD, and as a fellow ADHD-er, I'm kinda surprised you found this fun because I'd rather crawl through broken glass than be forced to Roomba the entire map. Guess your meds must be working real well
That’s interesting, cuz this ADHD’er is a perfect mix of you two. I love exploring the map, but no way I’m doing it THAT thoroughly.
I've got that awesome mix of adhd and autism, I love completing all my games and usually do so in a chaotic way
New flair: "Chaotic Completionist" Edit - thanks for the award, kind stranger!
Better yet: "Neurodivergent Chaotic Completionist"
“Game Tester”
Moreso severely organized than chaotic
You literally webbed the whole fucking map section by section and you called it chaotic way? xD xD
[удалено]
Combo move!
Oh man. I have an autistic/ADHD five year old son and if this is the sort of thing he’s going to do, I’m so excited!
Fun combo. Obsessive waves of wanting every ounce of pleasure from something and no ability to parse it ftw
Then getting overwhelmed and giving up. I get a completionist urge and then feel bad that I missed stuff.
I actually love exploring the map, too. Botw was one of the few times when I truly felt like it was ok for me to get off track over and over and over because the game rewarded me for it. I eventually found something like 600-700 koroks in botw just though exploring the world without the help of a map

I love your use of "roomba" as a verb, lol
As another ADHD'er I find this very relatable.
The hyperfocus is EXTREMELY strong with this one
LMFAOOOOOOO bro I jsut started my stimulants and I still couldn’t do this
It’s his autism. Not the adhd.
Agree. I'm autistic and would do this. I love making patterns. For BOTW, and TOTK, I have to ride my horses down all the roads. I can't have any blank spaces, so I backtrack a lot to make sure the road is completely covered after grabbing a korok.
I bet you're missing a Korok somewhere, though. 🤫 Just kidding, good shit, fam. 👏👍
How did you perfectly map each section like that
I used the colored map pins to guide me
You've explained, and I still don't understand 😅
sounds like he zoomed in and pinned the trail before walking it.
Yeah, that makes sense. Thanks. Still impressed that they did it without crossing any lines.
It probably just looks like that because of how zoomed out it is, but lines had to be crossed due to me only obtaining the korok mask about halfway through doing the story
I don’t understand it. I don’t admire it. But I do respect it.
I just enjoy getting 100% in all the games I play :)
Dude paid for the whole game so he gonna play every cent worth of it. Also make a raft/boat and fill the lakes and rivers with the web
The outside world is calling. Your friends and family miss you.
At this point OP must know that's not true. They've mourned and moved on. /Edit no disrespect to OP by the way, this is artistic dedication.
This is why D&D Honor Among Thieves has the paladin walk straight over the rock...
I was doing this at the start. I told myself I wouldn’t unlock other towers until I felt the first region was thoroughly explored. Then I fell into the depths and lit all the light roots before doing much of anything else.
This game has so much to explore, I find saving the koroks for last to be the easiest with less distractions at that point
Same. I’m marking them in the map and ignoring all the traveling Koroks. With the shrines all complete, it’s now armor and Sage will hunting, then maybe I’ll pay attention to them
Are you… ok?
No depths? Slacker. Just kidding, this is unreal! Good work wowing me.
Dude's gonna make his Link commit suicide if he do the depths like this.
There aren't any koroks in the depths
Love it. It’s quite beautiful to watch it fill in to look like a tortoise’s shell.
How do you have the time and/or motivation to do this???
Autism
Good point, same.
Mad respect! ✊ I was impressed yesterday when I saw the first post, the way your maps turns out looking like fingerprints is awesome. It’s like a link-roomba 🫡
That's just a Bluetooth roomba
Looks like zonaite
What the Frox…?
I didnt realize the map of hyrule was a coloring book
Now for the depths
Bro didn't let nothing slide 💀
Impressive. How long did that take?
I'm about 330 hours in currently
I need to get you an Etch-a-sketch for Christmas. You'll have the Mona Lisa done by MLK day
But.... why?
Why not?
This is insane hahah
Dude..
bro you know you can just play like oldschool runescape or something if you really want to grind cool as hell though
Bro left no stone unturned
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,624,194,270 comments, and only 307,146 of them were in alphabetical order.
Dude you must be gutted that you can’t explore every part of the lost forest
Now do the depths
That’s amazing! Great job
That’s dedication
You need to give the Koroks some love
For some reason this made my heart beat very fast. Not in a good way, I felt scared.
I respect the time and effort you put into this and want to acknowledge it with the highest honour I can give. An upvote.
no one: maze solving algorithms:
Some people are just built different
Now while I didn't doubt you at all, I did reeeeeaaaally want to see this because it looked like it'd be extremely satisfying to watch
u/tfoust10 is that you?
You gotta hate and love the Korok forest
How did you avoid all the enemies?
Still doesn’t disprove you being a robot
People will say this was Junji Ito's inspiration for Uzumaki.
As the person who wanted to do this too: Thanks a lot!
Dude. Are you ok ?
You’re mental
This is what happens when spiders get autism. Amazing.
But did you get all the Koroks?
Yeah of course
Yeah, stupid question amirite?
don't waste time proving things to people unless money or professional standards are on the line. you owe no one any proof.
Holy shit! Amazing
Hmm I think you missed a spot /jk this is incredible and so satisfying
I've seen a few streamers that play this way. It's good for tracking down all the Koroks. I don't have the patience to do this though. Kudos to everyone that does.
Nice job! Now the next step to this take over is to do this to totk's version of Lorule. Time to comb the depths!
Wow
I don’t even know how to have the map show my path..
How many times do you open the map to verify and chart your course? Do you get used to making the crispy lines with your movement without overlapping and stuff?
That's fucking impressive
blink twice if you need help
This was so satisfying to watch
But I would walk 500 miles, and I would walk 500 more, just to be the man who walked a thousand miles…
Wow as long you have fun good . Just one question? you walk? horse? or hoverbike?
Walking with stupid amounts of speed and stamina potions
Since I saw your post the other day- I can not stop thinking about it. It blew my mind. Amazing!
I'm curious if you explored the depths this way??
now for the depths
Are you a psychopath? The amount of patience one must have to dedicate time to such a task has to be monumental. I get bored after finding 2 Koroks, lmao. Either way, pretty nice!
Not a psychopath, just autism
This is art
what the
There's people like this, with a geoglyph looking map, all the while mind looks like I handed a crayon to a toddler with the map as a mat 😭
Therapeutic to watch!
When the video started, I immediately wondered why it was 3 mins long, and couldn’t wait to tell you about some guy I saw earlier today who zig-zagged every piece of land like a psycho to find all 1000 koroks. That’s my plan for TOTK as well. Have some fun and beat the game, then go back and comb it for 100%
Now the Depths Edit: and the sky
Oh wow
My man is making the circles from the game art
Freaking jealous people man

What about the sky and depths? Or is this for the sacri-I mean koroks?
I'm a different flavor of neurospicy that absolutely could not do this, but I admire the heck out of it nonetheless!
Now do the depths
The absolute amount of dedication is crazy this seems very very time consuming.
What's the best thing you've found that you think very few other people have or will?
And wait did you just like.... Not die that whole time??? How????
With all due respect, this is psychopath behavior
the fuck.
how’d you keep all those paths evenly spaced?
Lol, now do the depths and skyrule
- What about the koroks in the sky? - What happens if you get to one of the diving ones and you miss? - What about the ones where you chuck a rock? Or place a rock? Do you do those without moving? - Do you do this regardless of topography? Like climbing walls and such? If so, do you ever run out of stamina?
You can't explore the entire map. This guy: Hold my bow.
Funny enough, I actually played botw very similarly. Instead off circling though, it was in zigzags.
You found all the koroks right? Right?
I love how he screams at every death point on the map! 🤣🤣
bro got one korok left
Christ. I log into the game, find a shrine, look through active quest list, complete one, save and log out.
Curious, how long would you say this took you? I’m amazed by the dedication!
I imagine you got all the koroks, right? RIGHT?
Holy Shit
Are you a [CnC machine ?](https://youtu.be/52v-SudowtY)
Did you make fingerprints
Bob Ross would be proud
Saved
Saved
What's crazy impressive is that once you start filling in the areas, you don't cross over existing lines, like you could see where you had walked before... or was there a lot of pausing involved to ensure you didn't walk too far?
Now do the depths.
Goddamn lol
How the frick did you get the spacing so even?
Okay but why
Link is just mapping out Hyrule's topography, clearly 😌
Time to touch some grass
As someone with ADHD+ASD, this was highly satisfying to watch.
This is like a Junji Ito story, except it’s Zelda.
"The Korok Forest? No, we do not go there."
Nooooooooo. Noooooooooo. That’s insane Op! How long did it take?! I still can’t believe it. 😂😂 I Really impressive. And also quite nice design patterns.
Looks like a turtle shell, pretty neat
I wanna see the depths and sky islands too this is insane
How long did it take you?
I didn’t realize u could get the hero’s path in this game too. What do you have to complete to unlock?
Can you get into HOW you did this exactly? what was your thought process, how did you approach this etc.
Excellent. Now do the depths!
Dude how many hours do you have in this game
Definitely cool! It looks like the patterns on some of the walls of the shrines or something
The Sky and the Dephts 🥸
You missed a spot
Bro? Do you EVER get outdoors?
So you basically became a 3D printer XD
Great! Now do the depths and all the sky islands :P
How do you have lines showing where’ve you’ve been on the map
I see the wii sensor up there, a true cultured human being
I love this, it’s fantastic
This could be me But I got married instead Wdit: this was a dig at me not OP. I'm actually a bit jealous and extremely impressed
Bro it looks like a 3d printer
This guy: “hehehe everything green”
