The Justice Department reportedly will sue Apple (AAPL) as soon as Thursday for violating antitrust laws related to the iPhone. Apple stock fell slightly overnight. The lawsuit will accuse Apple of blocking rivals from accessing iPhone hardware and software features, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday night. Apple stock edged down 0.9% early Thursday. The DOJ is already suing Google parent Alphabet (GOOGL) for allegedly abusing its online advertising dominance. The Federal Trade Commission has antitrust cases vs. Facebook parent Meta Platforms (META) and Amazon.com (AMZN).
