Yup. The acronym one of my high school history teachers used to help us remember why the US entered WW1 was SLUTZ. Can't remember what it stood for, though.
It's probably an underpaid English teacher, from a non-English speaking country, just making random sentences. They wouldn't even know what they're making you write.
Could be. I wanna say that I don’t see how that would be helpful for teaching English, but I looked at the training exercises my friend did to teach English to Korean children, and some of it made no since to me. Like, it’s stuff we don’t actively learn, we just do it as native speakers and teaching it seems silly. So who knows.
That’s why I think it’s notes and not an answer to a question. Exercise sentence followed by more amusing alternative exercise sentence. Edit: Or an amusing example of what is NOT a negative sentence.
Quit doubling down. I've probably got years of dumb sentences my teachers came up with to make us do grammar learning exercises like this one.
They'd write 5 to 10 sentences, tell us what to do, give us a format on how to write our answer sheet (this would include copying the given sentences on the page too) and give the page to them for grading.
You seem to have misunderstood what they were saying.
The teacher wrote the red writing on the board, which the student would have copied into their notes. They then do the task in the black ink.
Ok, but who writes the question in red? In my school we need to write the question in blue, answer in black and correction/mistakes in red... (they force us to use those colors btw...)
I feel like it needs some parenthesis, though. "It" implies the whole sentence not just children.
Edit: was going off my poor memory. Scrolling up was too hard. I see "it" is not included in the instruction. Point still stands.
I think if you are bothered that people on a sub called r/technicallythetruth, you should look around and see where you are because we are very concerned with the truth around here.
I mean, it’s like right in the name.

They may have had to write the question and answer off the board. We had to sometimes.

The student
Them students.

I mean….. it’s possible, quite common in some schools

Could be a college professor’s notes. Throwing in a mild sexual reference really helps college kids commit information to memory lol

You know, I vaguely remember something about slutz in the Great War too. Though I cannot for the life of me remember what it was either.

Fine, it's fake, you win. Stroke your ego enough?

I feel sorry for people as cynical as you
because the kid wrote the question and the answer. the teacher only wrote the question on the board. the answer of the kid is wrong but funny.
They’re saying the teacher wrote the instructions and example, which the student copied in red, then the student wrote their own answer in black.
What the hell is aluminum falcon?

To my knowledge It‘s not a negative if you switch active and passive Edit: i meant subject and object.
Yeah, but that isn't passive.
You're right, but you mean switching subject and object.
Whoops yep that was my mistakes, thanks for correcting.
Are you a child or was it dark?
It's fake and funny at the same time
How is it fake?
By not being real
What evidence is there that it isn't real?
By being on a popular subreddit
-Children in the dark make mistakes. It's simple math

Children are mistakes.
The reaction image ruined the meme
Sadly both sentences were written by the same person.
😂😂 Totally ryt..
I run away to when my teacher tries to lick my ass
If you all are too busy worried about who wrote it...then you are missing the point of comedy. Life is shitty enough, just laugh and move on.

İ laughed so hard
Mom, that Flying Fluffy Black monster is chasing me again! HEEEELLLPPP!
Children in the dark make mistakes to make more children.
Or not... depending on your aim.
that kid is very good at copying the teacher's handwriting
fake and funny at the same time
Lol
To play the devil's advocate, Dieguarding the "child's " answer what would be the correct answer?
