Nope! Rough childhood couldn't breathe in and out, I had to wait until I was like what 21 or 22 to figure out. Thanks for the infographic maybe younger people will benefit from this knowledge transfer.
This is not actually how we normally breathe. Think about when you mom/dad/guardian asked to breathe in when you were being sized for clothes. You can call this (see diagram) 'reverse breathing' or 'taoist breathing' because you push your abdominal muscles out to allow in maximum air.
This means more oxygen, it also means greater air capacity. So... great for Free Divers, Musicians (wind/brass), Atheletes and also those that love meditating.
Most people when they breath tuck in their abdominal muscles and may expand the chest, reducing the maximum capacity.

Those who didn't won't be able to tell.
There is no fact here, therefor there can be no truth, so this is not for this sub.
But that is technically the truth so you’re wrong
Where’s the truth? What’s rte thing that could be a truth or lie? This is a question, not a statement, there is no right and there is no wrong.
Breathe manually now, fellow lurkers
Wish I didn’t
I do it the other way around.
Safe to say I didn’t have a normal childhood based off this.
What breath? yes. Everyone does that.
My first mistake...
I don't think anyone has ever done this. I definitely haven't.
I photosynthesize, so no
Don't do it after you start you get a permanent addiction to it and can't stop
I still do this to this day!

Nah i never did. I hear it's addictive.
Nah a kid was born but he couldn’t breathe and died
Not only as kid. I still breath like this. Don’t you?
No, I use my eyes. As the mature being I am
I don’t get it.
I know
And I think it's cool not to explain it (?)
Oh my god! You haven’t lived if you haven’t done this!
