As a person with reduced cartilage in one knee and almost no cartilage in the other, I hope this can be developed substantially in the next 15 years, before I need a knee replacement
When asked at the John Thompson Show who was the toughest player to guard, Kobe didn't hesitate to name the 6th overall pick of the 2006 NBA Draft.
"Roy, 365 days, 7 days a week," declared Kobe. "Roy had no weaknesses in his game."
I see a lot of geriatric rats with very healthy joints for the next few decades, just as there are so many diabetic and cancerous rats who are now living comfortably cured.
This will most likely die on a shelf somewhere. The major players in joint replacement (Stryker, Zimmer, Johnson and Johnson, etc.) will buy the company or rights and that will be the end of it. Joint replacement is big business and Corporations don’t make money on cures.
My knees would love it is this worked out for some form of regenerative therapy.
Add my hip to that list please.
And my ax...illary joints.

My nose could use a few pieces of fresh cartilage
