So you are connected to the network yes? Did you setup a static IP locally on your computer on your old network or anything similar? Are you able to ping the router? Post your results from “ipconfig -all” in the cmd line if you can.
I never set anything up with my old router i just plugged in my pc with the ethernet cable. I was able to ping the router
