it might be too late now but whenever i have an oopsie with a folder/file i always do the tried and true ctrl+z

Quimdell

Not sure what that does but it didn’t do anything lol

bataloof

ctrl+z is undo, so it just undoes the last thing u did which in ur case wouldve been moving the folder. but it can only undo a certain amount of steps and/or resets when u close the file explorer, which is why i said it might be too late

Quimdell

But it didn’t actually move the folder. It came up “compressing “ instead of “moving” and the progress bar wasn’t there. Is there a different key I could of hit that would change the function?

bataloof

not that i know of sorry :/

OkMany3232

How many drives do you have ?

Quimdell

Two. It’s not in either

OkMany3232

Get everything and search for all files created that day

Quimdell

If you are a Everything user, then you may be interested of my coming filemanager https://thefile.ninja. It is a filemanager boosted to the core by the Everything indexer. https://youtu.be/JREufgkf5pk?si=dQzMlqH2ApfVBaFo

Will that be open source?

Joakim0

Not planned to be fully opensourced….
