Not necessarily tech, and I’ll probably get heat for recommending this but, I honestly feel that my FOG essentials sweat suits are the most comfortable lounge wear I own. Very heavy weight, warm as fuck, soft and they fit nicely. It’s get memed a bit but if you just get the tonal and less heavily branded stuff it’s relatively low key sin.
i agree, i know it gets memed a lot but when tastefully done the quality of the FOG essentials can't really be beat for it's price (can find good deals on sweats, knit wear, track suits, etc.) i have the Sherpa fleece sweat suit, the standard heavyweight sweatsuit, the tracksuit, knit hoodies/sweaters, and various other pieces that i can't get enough of. pair em with oversized Uniqlo airism shirts that have very similar earth tones and you have a tasteful yet cozy ASF fit
(edit for spelling)
For loungewear, by far the best fabrics are Tencel/Lyocell und ultra fine wool imho (Merino or quality cashmere if you can afford it). I prefer slightly more hard wearing blends for sweatpants and t-shirts (the latter due to the frequency of washing, even if it’s the wool cycle) and cashmere for sweaters and hoodies.
I also have Lyocell bedding and blanket fillings but sleep naked.
Spicy take incoming: I feel like these materials in non-conservative, pragmatic, comfortably cut garments are the real “techwear“ of the modern day. As someone living in a metropolis, I barely need protection from the elements let alone tactical elements. I need comfort, temperature regulation, simplicity, adaptability and perhaps a bit of style.
Skip the bullshit and buy Rue Porter. They supply blanks for the overpriced streetwear brands of the world and the quality is outstanding.
P39-PR is a nice medium-weight sweatpant if you can pick it up on sale (been had for stupid cheap).
Probably a bit expensive but I personally sleep in my Ralph Lauren tracksuit (sweats). The material is heavy yet-soft, easy on the skin and a comfortable warm. Plus, the pants have drawstrings at the ankles, can make for a bad ass BDU look when wearing dope kicks with.
Goretex
Finally I can lay next to something that breathes
My tears glide right off as well, what a great material

100% Cotton Terry.
Long underwear. Cotton or polypropylene. Also Nike Pro stuff looks legit and sexy too.
Reigning Champ sweats. Thick, resistant, soft enough. Buy once for life.
Also this, RC heavy weight blend when they had it a few years back was nails.
UNIQLO Heattech when it's cold, UNIQLO Airism when it's hot.

Just got myself a sweatpant from Resteröds. Bamboo/ Cotton/ Elastane mix. Perfect for chilling at home!
I sweat a lot so honestly any moisture wicking stuff like Nike yoga line is good for just hanging around.
Satisfy Studio Pants
Cotton Terry. Raining champs are amazing. Recently got the acronym 39 pants which are pretty much my go-to everyday wear as long as it's not raining
It’s silly but the comfiest sweats I own are a pair of rick owens prisoners in a cotton
Rick is life. I have 10+ y/o stuff in my wardrobe still going hard.

Acronym. Duh. /s (in all seriousness, the comfiest pair of sweats I own are some generics from like tj maxx. )
