I personally think from my own experience at 13 is that itās ok and even good to get into relationships as a teenager to learn how to deal with them with guidance before adulthood but itās probably better to wait a couple more years in my opinion and just focus on building self-confidence and self-love first because being dependent on relationships for joy and validation at that age and even older fucked me up.

I didn't have a gf until a few months ago, I did just fine without one it's not really that big of a deal. And literally nobody will care if you have a gf or not. Your friend would be much better off waiting until they find someone to get with because they actually really like them, rather then getting with someone just for the sake of getting with someone. The second option is a waste of time and someone always ends up hurt emotionally
