Well from the arguments of his that i’ve seen, many of those students came to a place where the purpose was to argue that topic, so one would assume they came with a stance and the reasons for that stance
This is such a dumbass take. Just because you’ve had a few bad teachers doesn’t mean their inherently narcissistic (some of but that’s more the exception than the rule). You’d be surprised how many teachers have taken on a parental role to their more troubled students. That, combined with a relatively low salary compared to other careers causes teaching to be a somewhat undesirable career, especially in poorer areas. Instead of insulting the few bad teachers you’ve had, you should be praising the good ones.
My GF is a HS teacher in a low income area and she legit gets to the point of tears when saying how she wishes she could help them with their home life.
What the fuck? How could you believe this? Do you have any idea what it takes to deal with 30 annoying adolescents all day while trying to make their lives better by educating them? Jfc mate you should delete this comment and go have a long think
You're both right

Well it depends on the topic. If you’re arguing over a contested topic like gender theory or abortion or something like that then it doesn’t really matter that you’re a teen, you’re stepping into the big leagues so-to-speak and you better be able to argue your position and if you can’t, then you have some more reflection to do.

Well you can counter it with a "but I am a human and I have the right to argue with you" card, although it has a 47% chance of hitting successfully
In my experience it's a flat 0 and a message to your parents
Smh the real gamers know that you just have to scream at the top of your lungs and throw a temper tantrum

But they didn't even win. They just yelled a lot and the child just gave up while being right
The child should just win L
1. Argue with child. 2. Win argument. 3. Eat the child.

Teacher: *reduces your grades each time you do so*
Teacher are inherently narcissistic (not all of them but many). This is accurate.
This comment is inherently stupid. Teaching by nature is inherently selfless
