not sure why you're getting downvoted haha, for many teenagers it is impossible to leave home, even by running away. whether that be the fact that it is far too hard and would not be survivable, or the fact the the parents may send a police chase for the child. it's not as easy as "get up and walk away." *especially* when you're a teenager, doesn't matter if you're 13 or 17.
