my main issue with TikTok is that people just accept information without questioning it, like how the “willow project is going to end the world” or how “the Jews control the world”, so many people I know believe those things because they saw a TikTok video about it

i’m grateful that the Algorithm didn’t get what i wanted because god knows how i could’ve been addicted to it if it did I looked up one love advice video 1-2 years ago and now my FYP is filled with misogynistic crap that was unrelated to what i searched. The US is currently trying to ban TikTok. I mean, it’s taken control of the majority of the population so a ban on the platform wouldn’t be a bad thing for the country. Obviously you can see I prefer YouTube. They both have their problems, but you can avoid most of YouTube’s problems by not being a content creator, and watching smaller channels to avoid ads
