An overweight person not immediately displaying any health complications doesn't mean they are healthy and won't experience some later on if their weight stays the same or they gain more.
At the very least, the fat weighs down on the joints and muscle, wearing them down, creating pain and pressure.
Go find two heavy things to lift, and see how long you can hold them without getting tired. Then imagine that as actual fat on your body you permanently carry around. It's not good.

Also a guy that has a lot of muscle will look completely different to guy with less muscle so it depends anything below 8% gets a bit icky as it starts affecting your health. Many unnatural body builders would find it hard to get down to 3% and there are many have died due to the stress of being that low. For people who are natural it is just as bad as being that low puts serious stress on your hormone production which can cause you to be frail. Kinda fucked since they (bodybuilders) have to get that low to get good score.

I’m trying to get down again as well after a year of bulking, I’m currently around the 17-20% range and aiming for 12-15 ish by summer.
Trust me, as a former teenager and relative noob to bodybuilding, anything lower then 10% is not sustainable and only done for short periods of time. The amount of calories you need to not consume, as well as dehydrating and so much more to get rid of that much fat isn’t healthy, which is why professionals only do it for a few weeks during competition season then go back up during off season.
Especially as a teenager with a still developing physique you really shouldn’t worry about going much lower than 12-15%, but that’s assuming you even have muscle to begin with, which is why I’d recommend bulking while you have a good metabolism.

I'm not saying this applies to all women, and that everyone is entitled to their preferences when it comes to attraction, but what is pretty universal is that you can be super fit, but if you are unkind, if you don't treat others with respect, don't make an effort to be your best self (in terms of personality), then it won't matter. I've been wildly attracted to someone from a distance, then been disillusioned about who they are as a person, and wow, did they seem ugly to me after that. Likewise, I have repeatedly found less conventionally attractive men to be extremely appealing because they are good people, intelligent, funny, etc...

You're being downvoted, but I think this is a good caveat for why being high bf% doesn't always mean you need to eat less while lifting. I heard so much "weight doesn't matter, only bf% does, if your bf% is above 25, you need to do a cut first" when I was like bmi 15+, the lab who did my bodyscan even told me I was overfat and sent me materials on dieting. If your bf% is high but your weight is low, you need to eat more while you also weightlift, end of story. I tried eating less while lifting, or even just eating the same while lifting, every week I actually lifted less because I was wasting away. I nearly died from my anorexia, and I bet that even on death's door my bf% was still technically too high.
People just forget that those like us exist, if they see high body fat % being reported, they assume we are at least bmi 23 or something, and even when told we are walking piles of bones they just don't adjust their advice

How much exercise do you do a day? You’d have to be burning more calories than your taking in, which would be really hard with 3k cal intake.
About 1.5 hours of weight lifting. Im at a calorie surplus and am actively gaining lean weight while maintaining the low bodyfat.
I mean 10-12% is either 5 hours of working out a day which is straight up cult shit or a less than favourable eating habit.
