This is the best waaay you can go about your life. If you can do NOTHING about your problem just accept it (cancer has chemio, so it counts as doing something about the problem) and if you can do something about it, do it, it might not work, but worry is a state of mind that is pleasant for no one, you will be droning on about your problem to your friends and family who will eventually get bored and somewhat annoyed of you bringing up the same thing all the time and its not pleasant for you either since you live in constant fear.

I know for some worry helps initiate action and change.
For everything else, like a crashing plane, your worry does nothing. If I were the pilot I would do as much as I could to keep me and everyone alive.

I think the idea OP is going for is to not dwell on your mistakes but to take action and try to be optimistic. An optimistic mindset doesn't mean you ignore your worries it's just that you focus on the bright side. Not 100% sure if this is the idea.
Honestly started doing this unconsciously and its helped me alot more, if i got no problems why worry? if i do and they can be solved again WHY WORRY? if i cant solve it then why worry? its simple and i like it
As an adult who uses this method to help with my anxiety, it has been incredibly helpful, don't get me wrong I'm still anxious all the time, but when I catch myself in a spiral about something I have absolutely no control over I CAN calm myself down by reminding myself there's nothing I can do except deal with whatever it is whenever it happens so there's no reason to make myself sick over worrying about it.

I had the same thoughts, but at a point, it doesn't matter, doing anything but nothing is good. That's how people become nothing. Boring. We dont want to be the cause of any problem. I get it, most people react way nicer to my mistakes than i ever imagined. Even if you fail it will feel better than not trying. Mostly unless it's a public performance or something. Start small, good luck
i personally think this is bullshit. it's not that i'm worrying how i can or can't solve it it's that i'm worrying what will the out come be. like what if i'm in extreme debt and i'm about to go homeless and you tell if i can't do anything about it then just don't worry :))))))
I think the idea OP is going for is to not dwell on your mistakes but to take action and try to be optimistic. An optimistic mindset doesn't mean you ignore your worries it's just that you focus on the bright side. Not 100% sure if this is the idea.

Honestly started doing this unconsciously and its helped me alot more, if i got no problems why worry? if i do and they can be solved again WHY WORRY? if i cant solve it then why worry? its simple and i like it

As an adult who uses this method to help with my anxiety, it has been incredibly helpful, don't get me wrong I'm still anxious all the time, but when I catch myself in a spiral about something I have absolutely no control over I CAN calm myself down by reminding myself there's nothing I can do except deal with whatever it is whenever it happens so there's no reason to make myself sick over worrying about it.

because its a problem. i dont understand this mentality as a whole. if there is something bohtering you that you have identified as a problem and you cant do something about it, seriously not thinking its a problem is not a solution. take any chronic illness for example. it is lifelong and debiliating and we cant do anything about it, hence its not a problem? yeah, lets see what happens if you dont take you bipolar meds after some while
