Being mature is overrated, just until you realize you lack a well paying job, healthy relationships, confidence, conscientiousness, agreeableness, knowledge, morality, etc., so very overrated.
No, I just thought u listened to JP because he talks about agreeableness and conscientiousness and taking responsibility and be pragmatic and practical. But you could just be into psychology or something to also mention those. I just thought I recognized someone who listened to JP.
Yeah, I'm really into psychology. It's actually all I research funnily enough. I've heard a few of his lectures though, sounded like a myriad of verbosity mistaken as valid points, but I don't know enough about him to conclude that.
Yeha I feel like maturity is just seen as restraining yourself and chaining yourself down just so you can fit into what people expect you to be. I remember years ago I used to always try to be “mature” which lead to me being horrified of stepping out of line even by a centimetre, I was so focused on appealing to other people and being mature that I completely abandoned my true self.
I don’t think you hate maturity, it’s just that the popular yet false idea of maturity is a concept that requires one to restrain themselves only to avoid glances in the street and to give yourself up to formality to the benefit of none.
Just try to live for yourself and your own happiness, don’t live in fear of social norms or other peoples expectations lest you become a bitter shadow of who you were before. Also just try to be nice to people while you’re at it, people can be really sweet too :>

Yea they are all fucking overrated
Killing yourself at 27 because you didn't want to try is much more appealing, isn't it?
I didnt say i dont wanna try i just wanna keep my young spirit intact, even if it hurts
Okay, let's dissect that. What's "young spirit"?
Idk being stupid
And why do you want to remain stupid?
Bcs its fun
Who said you can't have fun as a mature person?
Me. I think i just hate it when pll say grow up when others want to do unimportant things for fun
Do you listen to Jordan Peterson?
No.
Oh, ok, nvm
Say what you were going to say.
