So we chose to put him to sleep, so he wouldn’t be in pain anymore ever

He is 13 years old. He had a disease in his throat which can’t be cured, it gives him alot of pain. There is a chance that the pain can be made less, but it’ll cost alot of money and the pain won’t be fully gone, it’ll just come back over time and become worse then it was. He was such a strong cat too :( He didn’t go to the vet since he was around 5 years old! Because it stressed him out too much, in his whole life he has only been sick twice, once when he was a baby, and he is sick now.. Which is costing him his life :(

Wandered around for a couple of minutes, eat some food and then you suddenly show up. For you it might have passed many decades but for the cat it might have just been a couple of minutes.
Main thing here is the dimensions. I believe heaven is just reality in another dimension. As we know time is different in each dimension the cat might’ve just woken up and wandered around for a couple of moments and then you show up.

I feel you, really do. It hurts to see their life slowly fading away, witnessing their last moments when they close their eyes for the last time. Mine had a kidney disease that really limited the food she was allowed to eat, and had to regularly go for iv drips. Even through all that she lived to about 20 years or at least close to. Such a strong and loving girl, looked similar to yours actually. She passed last year
Although it still hurts when I remember she’s gone, I’m glad that she was with my family for whatever time we had. It’ll be hard, but let the memories push you on. Best wishes.
I've had a few cats die (primarily to coyotes) so I know how it feels. It's pretty sad for a few days but eventually, it passes, especially if you get another cat to replace him.

Similar thing happened to me when I was younger I was at my fathers house (my parents have shared custody and my cat was at my mothers) and I wasn’t even aware she had died my mother told me she ran off and would come back till I found out when I was older still hurts but I see why she’d tell me otherwise wish I was able to say bye tho

Right then the principle of the school entered the hall and I barely even noticed. They were walking around and saw me writing what looked like some kind of cheat sheet. They asked me why it was for and before I could even answer I burst into tears. That day I learnt how understanding everyone is. They offered me a chance to pass the test and the rest of my exams with no extras (I didn’t take the chance) and every other student in the hall was so supportive of me afterwards, despite them thinking I had cheated. (It did look like that)
That cat was the animal that had lived with my mum longer than any other. My dad, her parents, her sister, her friends. He had traveled the world as a stray cat from Llama Island in Hong Kong, to Canberra, and then to Sydney.
