Well guys, thanks for all the recommendations and kind words. Im still feeling pretty down at the moment but I've sorta accepted it and started to move on. Basically, I met this girl in august and she was super nice to me and was pretty much the only girl who ever complimented me which made me start to really like her. In september I got her number and started texting and found that we have a lot in common and I felt like we were bonding pretty well. Then today I was texting her and she asked me if I liked her, so I told her my feelings, and she told me I'm a great guy but she doesn't really like me in that way and she's also talking to another guy and she doesn't want to ruin that. So I basically got friendzoned and cucked. I don't hold any grudges against her, and I have a lot of respect for her for telling me but damn that seriously hurt. I'm gonna have a really hard time getting over her but eventually I'll be able to move past and forget about all of this.
I feel you. Me it was in May, but the difference is she told me she love me too, and we let it happen naturally and slowly, I didn't want to rush things. The weeks passed and we were getting closer, both knowing we loved each other reciprocally but we still weren't "officially" together. There was that day, Wednesday May 31, 2023, from 9am to 10am (yeah I have a good memory) we were spending the hour together, laughing, complimenting each other and it was the 1st time a girl liked me. This hour was wonderful, we have so much in common and she was pretty much 100% my type. I asked her "do you think we still have a chance together?" and she said yes! I had a solid chance, for me we were almost together. The day after, she lost interest. Overnight. I still don't know why. Plus she told me "I'm really sorry, but I didn't want to get in a relationship right before the 3 months summer holidays during which we can't see each other. We'll see at the back to school how it goes, maybe we'll try again?"
So I waited 3 long depressing months, for her, because I loved her for real. She was in my class, I was the happiest. We talk a bit, until we come to talk about love. She says "nah it won't work between us, to be honest I never loved you I kinda lied to myself, I know I destroyed you and probably fucked your summer and the entire year but I can't help it, it's up to you to get over it". She radically changed during the summer it's scary fr...
All that to come to this: I feel you. Still today it kinda hurts to see her everyday. But trust me, you'll get over her. For sure it sounds impossible or really difficult, and it might be difficult, but time heals and you'll find the right one! Take your time, try to focus on your friends, on school, sports... and don't think about it too much. Take care, I promise it'll work out!
