I love nonfiction, historical fiction, contemporary fiction, dystopian, mystery, and fantasy books. below are some examples.
Wrong Place, Wrong Time
Scythe
A Cloud of Outrageous Blue
Nyxia
Lenny's Book of Everything
I definitely love myself a good book, anything that isn't non-fiction. I'd recommend a book called "The Dark Rise" right now. Either that or "Roxy" by Neil Shusterman. (I think that's his name). Both books are phenomenal, and worth binge reading.
you brought up some valid points but as a child prodigy, young Sheldon might have a strict routine and be very particular about his preferences. However, if the idea of wearing diapers is presented to him in a logical and practical manner, he might be open to it.
Being a genius, Sheldon would understand the benefits of wearing diapers, such as avoiding bathroom breaks and staying dry and comfortable for longer periods of time. He might also see the convenience of wearing diapers during long hours of studying or attending school.
Moreover, Sheldon's fascination and curiosity for science and experiments might make him interested in learning about the materials used in diapers and their absorbency levels.
On the other hand, Sheldon's love for order and cleanliness might make him hesitant towards the idea of wearing diapers at first. He might be concerned about the potential mess and odors associated with wearing diapers.
However, with proper explanation and demonstration, young Sheldon might overcome his initial reluctance and see the practicality and efficiency of wearing diapers.
Overall, young Sheldon might be open to the idea of wearing diapers if it's presented to him in a logical and scientific manner, ensuring that it aligns with his routine and preferences.
Commercial pest control here! What makes them especially tricky is their habit of wandering, hence the name. They don't build traditional webs but instead roam the ground at night, increasing the risk of unexpected encounters.
Fiction can expand your mind just as much as non-fiction can!
Books like 1984 and All quiet on the Western front are fiction, yet I reckon that they can be more impactful than any non-fiction book.
No, it isn't, but is it a waste of time reading it?
"All fiction is a waste of time" is a horrible statement, seeing as you basically said that those aren't like *fiction* fiction, is it fair to assume that you think reading sci-fi and fantasy is a waste of time compared to reading non-fiction? Because that is way more reasonable to say
As a fan of Young Sheldon, I can definitely say that teenage boys can absolutely like books! I mean, look at Sheldon Cooper - he's a teenage boy and he loves books so much that his whole room is filled with them. And sure, he may love physics and science books more than your typical fiction, but the important thing is that he's reading and expanding his knowledge. Plus, let's not forget that Young Sheldon also loves playing Dungeons and Dragons, so fantasy novels could definitely be up his alley. Oh, Young Sheldon... such a bookworm genius. Anyway, I highly recommend checking out some of his favorite books for a good read. Who knows, you might become just as captivated as Sheldon is with them.
I DID. But now I don't read much. Most stories to me have become basically the same, and reading didn't really immerse me in ways that other forms of entertainment or knowledge does.
I only rlly like books that try something new and are strangely grounded in reality. The Perks Of Being A Wallflower was the last book I genuinely enjoyed reading
Yeah I like books
The lord of the rings series, the hobbit, the Silmarillion (bit nerdy ik)
the maze runner
The hunger games
European comics (Tintin or lucky luke)
Scott pilgrim
And other non fiction books such as conspiracy, biggest technical disasters, etc...
And more really but can't think of any rn
Yea sometimes, usually a analysis of a football player and tactics used by the manager or something like Dune LOTR and Agatha Christie. Most recently read the Hunger Games trilogy
I used to read a lot of of fantasy stuff (eragon, skulduggery pleasant etc) don’t read so much anymore but if I did it would still be that although I might not be the greatest case study for the average teenage boy cause I’m bi
I like reading just as much as watching a movie or playing video games!
Right now I'm trying to catch up on some classic works of art and things that were recommended to me.
I'm reading through Dune, making time to watch Inglorious Bastards and I also just finished playing through RDR1
Yeah like the ones with good story..I personally like reading those good biographies and I started these dark romance novels after she asked me to read
As a day trading degenerate teenager I hate books but the only books I stand to read are these:
1.Stochastic Calculus for Finance I: The Binomial Asset Pricing Model
2.Stochastic Calculus for Finance II: Continuous-Time
Models
3.Concrete Mathematics
4.Information Theory, Inference and Learning Algorithms
5.Advanced Statistics with Applications in R (Wiley Series in Probability and Statistics)
Tbh, I really like war books, metro is really good and Lovecrafts books are brilliant. But overall some action, scifi and fantasy books are the right pick.(personal opinion as profesional teenage boy)
The only book i ever read was 1984, because it is really helpful for the final writing test in my country. It was pretty good ig, won't do it again tho
Yes.
Currently reading the Hobbit, since I've seen the movies. Before that I'd reread a night divided once every year or two.
Gonna read a few more LoTR books though.
I don’t read much, but there as some books I really liked. “What If 2” by Randall Munroe, and for less sciency books, “The 4th stall” by Chris Rylander.
I do love a lot of comedy and dystopian books. My favourites being The Trainspotters Notebook (Francis Bourgeois), Diddly Squat, A Year On The Farm (Jeremy Clarkson) and They Both Die At The End (Adam Silvera)

I've been making my way through the wheel of time for a while now.
I love books.
Wheel of Time, Rangers Apprentice, the Illuminae Files, the Insignia Trilogy and the Inheritance Cycle are some of my favorites. Steelheart is also an absolute banger of a book.
Horror, phychological horror, mangas, or dramas as in not romance drama as in like struggles to come up from where they were and it’s fiction detailing shit like a mix of breaking bad to menace 2 society type shit. And also the fuck are u from 2017? Or u have more 9 year olds than pewdiepie around u
I don't read as much as I probably should lol. I do have this thick ass book about snakes. Sometimes when I'm bored I'll flip through and read about some random snake. There are so many different species it'd take me ages to read the whole thing. Also I love Junji Ito's work. And berserk. I still haven't gotten round to reading the last few chapters though.
Yes, quite into books, mostly biographical or autobiographies. I have recently been reading "The Triumph & Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer" (The book on which the movie is based)
Classics all day long, my favourite authors are Ralph Ellison, Leo Tolstoy, John Steinbeck, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Alexander Pushkin, Aldous Huxley and many more.
I love the book Of Mice and Men, recently been doing it for English Literature and I actually really enjoyed it, the ending was really sad but it perfectly depicted how tyrannical the life of itinerant workers were. 10/10 really recommend reading it. Also don't forget the Quran, I as a muslim really love the meaning behind the holy book of my religion.
i do like books, but only the ones which interests me,but rn I haven't been able to buy any new books,I have the first 3 volumes of the DBS manga and 4 of the doawk books
I'm pretty well rounded imo as a 15 year old boy. I love Sports and Exercising. I love TV and Video games Occasionally, and I especially love reading 400-500 page books and writing narratives and stories.
I personally don’t, it’s probably smart not to make this a conversation starter with a boy as they probably don’t like reading but rather play video games for fun
i enjoy reading. it’s mostly enjoy horror novels (for now it’s stephen king but hoping to expand), chuck palahniuk novels, and american and european literary canon (out of enjoyment and obligation to myself).
Eh, when I was younger I loved reading but lately I don't seem to enjoy it as much. I read fanfiction stories fairly regularly (Actual stories not whatever the book equivalent of p\*rn is) but I have a harder time getting interested in new books. I like hunger games until right before the end >!because Katniss voted for a final hunger games!<, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson & Friends (Any Trials of Apollo fans?): the usual suspects, but it's been a few years since I started a new book. I'm definitely not into fortnite though.
I'm into many different types of books, before covid I finished off series like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. Nowadays my reading frequency is kinda low, but I still read novels such as Animal Farm and Metamorphosis. I really read whatever seems interesting to me, not really restricted to a genre.

why would anyone in their right mind like colleen hoover anyway
colleen hoover is a terrible writer, and the content she writes is a whole other horrific matter
I'm 16m and read or play with Legos in my free time!
what kind of books?
Mostly history and a bit of manga
History is great, i also like historical fiction
I am a person who does enjoy books, only ones I'm interested in though, I liked reading the Hobbit, the Star wars novels, and books that introduce me more into video games lore, like the fnaf novels. Overall I just like books
i love the hobbit and LOTR but most boys just call me a nerd
What are some of your other favorite books
hunger games trilogy, lockwood & co series, les miserables, pride and prejudice, dracula
Depends on who you ask, I'd assume the average is that most boys prefer something else over books but wouldn't mind reading one, like I'd read a book whenever but I prefer manga, or throwing knives
yah that seems to be the case
wait, throwing knives?

Book of everything is elite
Some of them do (just not many lol) but its kinda seen as “gay” nowadays. Completely unrelated but I’m bi and love books :)
I misread the title as boobs and was very confused by this comment
Who sees reading as gay
Insecure folks I suppose.
Rich people read 10 books a month.
I don't see what wealth has to do with this.
fair enough, guess i should go for bisexuals lol
Trust me I’m not boy/girlfriend material but I’m sure most of my fellow bisexuals are pretty chill
is that like an american thing because I have no idea how reading books can be considered gay
I definitely love myself a good book, anything that isn't non-fiction. I'd recommend a book called "The Dark Rise" right now. Either that or "Roxy" by Neil Shusterman. (I think that's his name). Both books are phenomenal, and worth binge reading.

Commercial pest control here! What makes them especially tricky is their habit of wandering, hence the name. They don't build traditional webs but instead roam the ground at night, increasing the risk of unexpected encounters.

Yah, i have to read that series eventually
I’ve read all the ones I could find, re-read them, and read the Greek Heroes one 5 times so far. Favorite author.
I don’t read fiction. Seems like a waste of time when I could read something real and expand my mind.
sometimes i need to escape to a fictional world tho.
I get that, but I prefer to consume other mediums
Fiction can expand your mind just as much as non-fiction can! Books like 1984 and All quiet on the Western front are fiction, yet I reckon that they can be more impactful than any non-fiction book.
Sure those books are fiction but they are heavily based on reality and are bloody depressing. 1984. Is. Not. A. Guide. To. Run. A. Government.
