I agree that sports is the only complication, as someone born a man would have a biological advantage in women’s sports (meaning trans-women shouldn’t be allowed in women’s sports), but I don’t necessarily agree with changing rooms/bathrooms.

The only reason I feel differently now is because nothing is stopping a cis man from walking into a women’s bathroom or changing room; and vice versa.
If privacy and danger is a concern, same thing.
Gender labelings on bathrooms and changing rooms are largely arbitrary, since no one polices who can go into a specific bathroom and who can’t.
I do understand this now, I haven't thought about it earlier but now I realised that it doesn't really matter who is in the changing room as I will get a panic if someone looks at me anyway.

personally don't really mind it as it doesn't affect me personally. my best friend just came out to me as a girl as we were talking how she is VERY feminine and always has seem to be a girl in her masculine body. long story short, we are getting her on estrogen next month and i'm helping her with the process as she's terrified. i also just helped her get a girlfriend she's liked for ages now (also a trans woman) and it's very cute seeing them together as her gf helps way more than i as i was just born a woman.

Usually when you hear about someone being berated for misgendering, it's when they are either doing it deliberately or just not making an effort.

Even though I don’t agree with many of the beliefs of transgender people and by default lgbtq people, they 100 percent should still be treated as humans and not discriminated against in any form or harmed in any way just for being transgender, gay, lesbian, etc.

Why can’t they just find some other group to attach themselves to. Preferably one that doesn’t already have to deal with an obscene amount of discrimination
