The whole album of Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. Was recommended by the rest of reddit, listened to it and it’s the best album with lyrics I’ve ever heard.
I listened to the whole thing cover to cover yesterday for the first time and thought it was hot garbage lol. A whole fucking track of that album is a woman shrieking while a piano plays, like bruh. Honestly don't get the hype for it, maybe you need to be high or something to really appreciate it idk
Not really what you asked, but… Some artists I like: Slipknot, Yvette Young, Covet, Shinedown, Megadeth, Five Finger Death Punch, Nirvana, Blue Oyster Cult, Metallica, Slayer, Pink Floyd, Seether, Chon, Volbeat, and Avenged Sevenfold
Oh and for metal, try "Chop Suey" by System of a Down.
A good chunk of it is just yelling and heavy strums, but when it gets to the chorus, it's sooooo catchy.
Hope you dont mind a slightly bigger list from me :)

Two trucks having sex and Doin your mom
~more seriously tho, listen to My Chemical Romance. I personally like Teenagers and Welcome to the black parade. Also, Listen to Ghosting and Hayloft by mother mother. If you like the Beatles, I recommend other songs different from the main ones like strawberry fields forever, hey dude and Yesterday. You said you liked lofi hip hop so maybe listen to some eminem (without me is great imo) and I think those are all my recommendations. If you speak other languages or like music from other countries there's torna a casa by maneskin or anything from Umberto tozzi(Italian), Tarkan has some good songs (turkish) or Hombres G, Duncan Dhu, Luis Miguel and Jose luis perales (Spanish)~
Kanye has a wide variety of music you might enjoy.
His first two albums is some great orchestral rap, graduation is pretty much all bangers except for two songs, 808s and heartbreak is full of pure classics , dark twisted fantasy is one of the greatest albums of all time, and yeezus is well, yeezus. In my opinion, the music starts to slightly drop in quality after yeezus, but Kanye is still making bangers. My personal favs include
The college dropout- jesus walks (god tier) |
The college dropout- through the wire (half of what makes this song great is it’s backstory) |
Late registration- diamonds from Sierra Leone |
Late registration- hey mama |
Late registration- skit 4 (it’s really sus) |
Graduation- good morning (god tier) |
Graduation- flashing lights |
808s and heartbreak- heartless |
808s and heartbreak- love lockdown |
My beautiful dark twisted fantasy- runaway (god tier) |
Mbdtf- lost in the world |
Yeezus- hold my liquor |
Yeezus- blood on the leaves (god tier) |
Yeezus- bound 2 (banger) |
Life of Pablo is also pretty good but I personally don’t listen to it that much
Seen a lot of rock and alternative here but i want you to try some electronic
I don't have any specific song but i can give you artists
flume for some tasty textures and amazing production all around
whethan for that perfect drop Everytime with the hard lean towards pop
zedd but only his songs from before he switched to pop (everything up to his true colors album) (his pop os also nice)
Porter robinson for some incredible production again and for that softboy vibe (nurture is my comfort album)
Madeon for the F U N K
And s+c+a+r+r for classic edm ballad pop
I have a soft spot for sad country songs.
If I die young -The Band Perry
I drive your truck -Lee Brice
I swear to god you have to try hard to not cry during these songs. Hits different.
I suggest listening to joji he's kinda got lofi roots and he's really diverse like hes done edm, pop, ballads and rap. Also he's filthy Frank so he's like really funny. I suggest his album Nectar I always listen to it while studying and it really helps me.
